Yedlin's first Premier League goal. Read that it was the first Premier League goal by a U.S. international in four years.
Great pass, good run, and good finish for Yedlin. Last US Premier League goal: You might need to go back to Jozy Altidore failing not to botch a good scoring opportunity in 2015 with Sunderland. Geoff Cameron: no header on a corner for a goal? Rough patch for our Yanks!

Though it's just a U-23 Club Team in Germany, this young man, who is 18 I think, is finding the back of the net regularly (5 goals in 7 games) and will make it hard for both the parent club (Werder Bremen) and the USMNT to ignore.

U.S.'s Sargent nets 5th for Werder Bremen U23s
I think a lot of us were surprised Sargent didn't open the season with the senior team. Hopefully now that he's done his job with the reserves they'll start giving him peeks in the DFB-Pokal (if they're still in it - not sure) or select league games.

The future of the USMNT attacking force is in good hands should Sargent, Weah, Carleton, and others continue to develop and realize their potential. Oh, and Pulisic is what, still 19?

Just 2 matches in, SV Werder Bremen is in 7th place in the Bundesliga.

Having other players like Sargent, Weah, McKennie, Adams, etc. is also very important for Pulisic as it will take some of the pressure off of home on and off the field. if MLS and USMNT management can just let them develop, I am very optimistic for the US in 2022 (assuming they all don't die of heat stroke whent he AC in those Qatar stadiums fail) and beyond.

You'd think. Let's see if the MLS slugs still continue to hold sway.

And it was a real goal. Can't say the same about his CL effort.

Weston got hurt today. Hope it's nothing

Yeah the German Dortmund beat writer who comes on Sirius XM FC said that Pulisic is pretty much a lock to start because he is one of the few players Dortmund still has that can beat guys one on one.

One of the problems with Champions League soccer today, outside of the Premiership, each league has 1 to 3 maybe 4 teams that are legitimate contenders year in and out while the rest make money by developing and selling players to those teams.

CCV is going to get consistent PT for Swansea now that Joe Rodon broke his metatarsal. He's out for 6 weeks and they are lacking Center Backs. So CCV will be playing regularly and hopefully we'll!

Tim Ream embarrassed himself on Spurs first goal today. UConn's Cyle Larin got a chance Friday and looked strong and scored his first goal for Bestikas.

That was awful. Just completely whiffed. My 10 year-old makes that clearance 999 times out of 1,000.

Boom boom boom everybody say weah! Goal on his debut for the bhoys. Hail hail
After entering at the 70 minute mark, U.S. American Weah looked pretty good in his Celtic debut in addition to his first goal.

As for North American Cyle Larin, he's a Connecticut alumnus. Unfortunately, he's still an Ontario born and raised Canuck.

No Weston in the Schalke 18 today. I don't see anything about him being hurt? Looming transfer?
