Tui Brown is a 6-3 215lb LB/WR from Gateway High School in Monroeville, PA. Other offers from Air Force, Akron, Ball State, Buffalo, CMU, Delaware, Duquesne, Navy, Ohio, RMU, Toledo, UMass, William&Mary and WMU

To recap what we know at this hour:
Commitments taking their OV this weekend:
Nathan Carter - RB
Brendan Heatherman - TE
Carter Hooper - DL

Prospects taking OVs this weekend:
Justin Stevens - OL
Austin Reeves - OL
Keelan Marion - WR

In the coming weeks I think its possible we see some of these guys visit as well (guestimate list based on a combination of their existing offers and twitter enthusiasm /inter-connectivity with the staff):
Cole Graham - OL
Khiyon Wafer - WR
Owen Snively - OL
Tui Brown - OLB/WR
Jhaylin Embry - WR

These are the 2 I’m curious about

Desmond Fogle (LB) - Camden County High School, Kingsland Georgia
Jhalyn Shuler (LB) - Abbeville High School, Abbeville South Carolina

Those 2 (especially Shuler) are the kinds of LBs that could thrive under what we do... potential staples to our LB corp

Yep, those are two that I feel like might be secret commitments for several reasons; i) both have been very quite all fall about new offers and ii) UConn has been relatively inactive in offering LBs, particularly inside LBs since mid summer.

I don't know if we will have the room, but I hope we take two HS LBs and one JUCO or grad transfer LB this cycle. We need both. Of the youth on our roster, only Mitchell has really looked the part.

Agreed we need more TRUE LB depth/help

Did we somehow miss this guy?

We offered Ryan Smith LB from Harrison HS in Kennesaw GA back on 6/2.
Yesterday is was named 2019 Region 6 AAAAAA Defensive Player of the Year in GA.

Earlier this month he picked up an offer from Colorado State. From mid spring to fall he earned offers from Elon, Buffalo, Lehigh, Tennessee Tech, Army, Fordham and Austin Peay. Back in early spring and prior to that as a junior in 2018 he reported offers from Louisville, Coastal Carolina, Holly Cross, Akron, FAU, Howard, EKU, Ohio, Cornell, Liberty, Yale, Troy, Dartmouth, , Columbia, Kent and USTA,

It seems most of those offers a junior were spurred by his participation in The Opening in 5/7/18 as a 15 year old where he clocked in a 4.78 40 time with 6'1' and 196bs. For age 15 that is pretty good.

Hmmm... I went back to look and I'm following him and posted his offer. I wonder if I inadvertently whacked him in a "cut and paste" when moving between the two list (locked and unlocked).

Well, he's added back in now. Nice catch.
