2019/20 UConn Recruiting

UConn player of interest Sarah Andrews ('20) out until December with a fractured wrist.

Zia Cooke to South Carolina. Staley can get a point guard if she can’t get anything else.

Hell no! I understand she's been a UConn fan for forever, if she leaves the NW for there so be it. I'm simply not willing to accept any possibility she would choose to go to Waco.
Maybe Van Lith will prefer to stay in the PNW? I know 2 schools in Oregon that will be needing to replace some great guards during Van Lith's time in college.

Surprised no one has visited Haley Jones twitter , nothing from her visit last night not a retweet or anything leaving a trace that she was even in storrs . Hmmm not a good sign . She posted a photo with Dawn and the gamecocks when she left there most recently . Same from Aaliyah boston as well , maybe Geno told them not to post anything maybe ? Sorry just looking for some type of clue here .

No news is good news on the social media front I think. Silence is usually a good thing. I have a good feeling about this...just sayin’

Any insight ? I wanna feel at ease while we wait as this is killing me ! lol

...Think the recruits are busy and it takes a few days for them to post about their official visits. ..For example, Jones' post about her South Carolina visit is dated 11/1.

When did she go ? Shoot most of these are RT's anyway how hard is it to look at your phone and hit repost ? That shouldnt be a few days especially if the phone is with you 24/7 . Kids these days cant breathe without social media so im unsure .

Think about this- Aubrey Griffin visited 9/21 and the entire weekend she didn’t post once on any social media (think that may be a UConn thing) then several days after 9/26 it’s announced she is canceling other visits, and 9/27 she announces UConn. For a week there was zero social media. First she needed to let other coaches know she was going to UConn, and didn’t want to distract from that decision by getting people riled with social media. I think it is a good sign. Hopefully Aliyah and Haley are doing the same thing. I’m just choosing to be optimistic!

I like how you think Husky32 ! Thanks for the comparisons to our last commit , hopefully they all are in touch and deciding the same moves at this point .

And I think Horston did a fairly quick "thanks for a great weekend" stuff. Correct me folks if I'm wrong.

You are correct on the Horston front. At least I know her mom did. So like I said, no news is good news.

Anyone who is a parent of or have been around young ladies of this age that are close, understand that using their phones is a physical imperative. If they are not tweeting then this is a conscious decision made by all of them together. If they are not tweeting then they sure as heck are burning up the texting and direct call lines to each other.

That means there is some serious discussions and decision making going on right now between these four. Right now. Since there haven't been any tweets and presumably a ton of comm between them to me means at the least, some of them have made their choice and some have not. A lack of tweeting also says to me that perhaps they all want to play together at the same institution. To me Boston is a lock for UConn. Fudd although young is a heavy UConn lean. I think Haley is a light UConn lean, and Paige is a light ND lean. I think the lack of tweets means the two UConn leans are trying to convince the two others to play for Geno. I don't think any amount of discussion is going to convince these four to all play for Muffet or Tara. I think the lack of tweets is these four realizing that they are not all going to play on the same team, and that indeed these four amigos may be playing on three different teams.

Just my crummy two Lincoln's.

You people are reading WAY too much into this! Boston and Jones have been very consistent in what the have posted and when they have posted on social media regarding their visits to EACH and EVERY school! They usually come a few days after the visits and it will be no different with their UConn visit. I have already stated multiple times that I don't think UConn has a very good shot at any of Boston, Jones, Bueckers, or Fudd, but I anxiously wait hoping that I am wrong.

UConn doesn't have a very good shot at them? It is one of four schools Boston will choose from and one of five for Jones. Both players just made their visits, and both have been to the campus on multiple occasions. Bueckers and Fudd just made unofficial visits for the second time in a year, this time apparently without any coordination from the Huskies. Both decided to visit the campus last weekend during the visits by their friends Jones and Boston.

No idea where they end up, but I don't see how one can conclude UConn hasn't a good shot at them compared to the other potential suitors.

I don't know about you, but I haven't responded to his statements because I'm holding on to my "I told you so's". Then I'm going to cartwheel into the room.

Well if you are going to "cartwheel into the room" with "I told you so's" why don't you go on record now and post who you think chooses UConn?

If you look above I think I made my position(s) pretty clear.
