All-Jared Cook Tip-Off Classic Team

PF Rakim Lubin, Buford: After moving to the north Gwinnett county from Alabama and committing to UConn, there were a number of people that wanted to lay some eyes on the mammoth 6-foot-8 post player. Consider his first impression a good impression. Lubin had to match-up with some of the beefiest frontlines in the Atlanta metro area and stepped up to the challenge in his individual situations. Lubin set the tone for what should be a very productive season moving forward.
 
Lubin sounds like a force, but is he tall enough to play the 5?

If not, would Ollie be OK with playing a lineup with only 3 perimeter players and two guys crowding the lane?

I think daniels and Giffey have been in the lineup together this year. One is the center. They are both about the same height as Lubin, but 50 lbs less. I'm assuming he can hold down the 5 against all but the longest centers in college basketball. Luckily we have AB, so it shouldn't be an issue most of the time.

That was in 2 1/2 quarters.
 
I am told Sam had around 17 points tonight. That has seemed like a very common number for him so far this season.

Lubin's AAU coach just told me that he had 23 points and 12 rebounds tonight. He fouled out in overtime. He said the fouls were like Shaq's because he was stronger than the opponent so he had fouls called on him because of his strength on the offensive side.

Also, his coach will be sending me some highlights of Lubin from this season sometime soon.
