Thanks HFD! Didn't even think about that! I better cut down on the merlot! Smh!!
I hope to see Joyner in green this fall. I've been a fan of this kid since last year when he camped with us and did well; the article was posted on Rivals last year. I wonder why he didn't do any camps this year. Are post grads allowed to camp since they've actually graduated?

It sounds like NC State leads, but Penn State and UConn fill out his top 3 based on this tweet: https://twitter.com/niebuhr247/status/237385989801254912
Maybe we should bring him in for the NC State game.
i was at 20 before a couple kids left. i'm now running with the guess of 25 between 1 or 2 more leaving this spring and a couple rs jr's not coming back.Any idea how big this recruiting class is gonna be this year. I was figuring that they wanted maybe 20-22 kids, but with the transfers and guys getting kicked off the team there should be a few extra spots to bring in a class of about 23-25.
with wrights 2 new offers, anyone got the scoop on who leads?

-taylor set official visits to bc and nebraska. he has a good list of offers and i haven't seen anything uconn positive from him. he goes red.
-wright just got offers from psu and ncst. we were the first in on him and i think he visited recently.
Interesting Montgomery articles on Rivals. Made the trip to UVA but didn't seem all that fired up about it. Visited Friday but had to leave for some reason, then cam back on Monday and met the coaches and some players. Nothing hugely positive about UVA. Still planning another visit to UConn. May do officials to UVA, Vandy and Missouri before making the decision. Don't think Vandy has a spot for him now. Missouri is a new name he mentioned.
Dan,
Is Sylva available for this class?
CrazyfanDan,
With the upcoming commit of Holines where does that leave us with Stevens, Camara etc.?
There's a less than 0% chance he's coming up north just saying.call me crazy guys, but i think we may have a small % shot with aj turman at rb. i have really overlooked him before because he has a great offer list and we wouldn't stick out on it. now that i looked a bit deeper into his stuff i see that of his 13 bcs offers, 10 of them already have rbs in there 13 classes. and uga who doesn't, has 28 recruits already. we may be in this quietly, just a hunch.
Well I guess Ogundeko is a definite "no!" According to the NY Post, his top 6 are Syracuse, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Florida and Notre Dame.
JS--I totally understand. I just think that this is the Wayne Morgan syndrome all over again. I think that if he waits to commit until signing day a lot of those offers will be gone--if that were to be the case, I wonder if we would be in the picture again, provided that we have a spot.I'm so over and done with that kid.

I think Holines and Ogundeko are very similar players. I think getting Holines probably means Ogundeko wouldn't have spot with us even if he wanted it. I say this despite the fact that I think Ogundeko was woefully under ranked by Rivals initially, kid is a stud/freak athlete. I think Holines, might be a tick below as an athlete, but looks to have a larger frame with potential for more good weight. I'm very happy with how this class is shaping up so far.
That is good to know. They are both explosive. The one difference I noticed in the highlights is that Holines looks to have mean streak/plays beyond the whistle.Farrell actually said that at an event in May, Holines had a quicker first step than Ogundeko, and outside speed is Ogundeko's strong suit.
great, thanks for the info. he will go to the 2014 class chart now.Neally is at New Mexico Institute instead of Dean... they offered him a full ride there whereas Dean only offered partial... will be there 2 years and is still in constent contact with our coaches
BTW, who is "Booges" the DL you mention that has interest in us?
Eutemia Boges:
Only 2 letters off in the first name and one in the second, Dan!
Holines may not be as ready to play early on in his career though.. if you look at his photo on rivals ( the uconn article where he talks about how he flipped to us over UMASS ) he looks like he needs to see the gym and get in better football shape for the FBS level. Ogundecko already looks like he's there....That is good to know. They are both explosive. The one difference I noticed in the highlights is that Holines looks to have mean streak/plays beyond the whistle.
