Pretty sure they had complete game coverage for all games last year. Presumably that will be the case this year. But you need to get the whole family of espn channels (espn, espn2, espnu, espn news) to have full access. Especially for the early rounds
I actually thought they spent an inordinate amount of time yesterday talking about how great Georgetown was while they were getting their butts kicked, but maybe that's just me.
I'm sure you're right if he thinks she is jeopardizing her long term well being. I'm assuming she won't be medically cleared to play if that is a consideration.
In the discussions of whether a player should play or sit out we rarely (if ever) seem to consider what the player thinks. Suppose Aaliyah has made the decision not to return next year and she goes to Geno and says "I only have a few games left and I"m playing today!" Is Geno going to say no...
While I agree she could shoot more mid-range, she's 5 for 11 on three's last 2 games and .359 on the season, which is decent. We are going to need 3 point threats to get far in the tournament. I think she has to keep taking them if she's open.
When my daughter tore her acl when she was 19 the doctor who repaired it said it would be stronger than the original ligament ( he took the graft from her hamstring). 16 years later she's still playing competitive soccer. I always wondered if he was just being positive or was that confident in...
Have a house along the route. There are lots of bikers using it all summer long. You can detour on narrow river rd through the town of Orient and get off the main road a bit. More scenic. Would add 15 minutes or so to the ride
My sister moved to Georgia years ago to take a job at University of North Georgia (about and hour North of Marietta). She eventually became their AD and had a very successful tenure there (recently retired). I hope your daughter enjoys Georgia and finds similar success.
I think Geno doesn't think his players should have any problem playing 38 minutes a game when they haven't played in five days and have 3 days till the next game. I also think he likes to get his "reliable" players used to what they will have to do come tournament time.
On the other hand maybe...
"The prayers and love means so much to me and the doubts that I won’t get back to where I was might mean even more."
I'd like to doubt her ability to fully recover if that would help her, but she's got me convinced she will.;)
For those who might be interested, Women's final four soccer on ESPN2 tonight. Virginia vs Fla State @ 6 and North Carolina vs Santa Clara @ 8:30. Up till now you had to go to the tarheels website to watch any games. Easier to find NCAA beach Volleyball.
Tough matches coming up, but a chance to match their longest win streak.
The USA enters the match against Sweden on a 37-game unbeaten streak and having won its last 16. The current 16-match winning streak is the third-longest in program history. The USWNT won a record 18 straight matches from...
This may be true, but if you take her scoring average for the past two years and extrapolate that to a 38 game season she'd most likely be a 2000 point career scorer (barring injury next year). That would put her ahead of many great Uconn players. As it is she'll most likely finish above...
Interesting. Thanks. Just looked at the box score. Uconn got killed on the boards, but Tennesee shot 58% from the line. Looks like that and Taurasi are what sunk them. 30 points from the freshmen. Pretty good, but only 2 more than DT scored by herself.
I posted hardly at all this season for a couple reasons. Mainly seemed like added work as I feel compelled to see what the responses are. But I spent many hours being very pleasantly diverted by all the great comments, questions, insights and opinions posted by all of you. It's a great board...
Apologies if this was mentioned in post game thread, but I don't feel like going there to look. Out of 200 minutes of playing time, we had 84 minutes of freshmen on the floor. Seems to me like some growing pains are to be expected and the future is pretty bright.
You are probably right, although one wonders why I can stream other content without a problem. I've given up trying to figure out the internet. It seems like it should be extremely logical, but it's not logic that's logical to me.
I've been checking FOX Broadcasting Company | Full Episodes, Shows, Schedule, which is for some reason not quite the same as FOX Sports Live - Watch Live Sports & Shows Online | FOX Sports. The listing of upcoming games there is completely haphazard and inconsistent. Sometimes it will show the...
Under the heading "Lesser of two evils" I was able to watch the game last night on my pc on foxsports.com with no freezing or buffering as long as I kept the screen minimized. Unwatchable at full screen with the constant stoppages.
What can a team do after a bad game, but get over it and get ready for the next game? Fans might as well do the same. Looking forward to USF on Sunday.
I think frustration is the key word because if UConn could have made some of their open shots in the first quarter they could easily have had the lead. If the team didn't have talent it wouldn't be so frustrating, but I think most agree they are/should be better than they've shown. I don't care...
In a strange way I think that bad home loss to Oregon may take some of the pressure off. I think everyone plays a little looser and they show well, but SC has the edge this year. SC 77 UConn 72.
