That's because, generally, foreigners have better fundamentals, eh? The play of the night occurred when Ines stole the pass, made a looong pass to Lou downcourt who made an acrobatic pass to Aubrey for the lay-in! Ines & Lou have gr8 court vision and other superior fundamentals!

Geno: "We Don't Do Enough 1-on-1"

Wow Stacy Dales was my favorite WBB colorist .. she and Kara Lawson were the best, most informative, combo, hands down! I wonder what she is doing now?

Geno: "We Don't Do Enough 1-on-1"

Sorry, against Kutztown, I saw Nika "just go" several times, eh?

Lou: If she plays like she did today which one of the pre-season best 5 will she knock out for first team All-American?

It's pretty obvious that Lou should start over Caroline .. we need a dependable starter .. Caroline is just too 'iffy' .. with Caroline, "it's always something", eh? ... Lou is just too good to come off the bench .. and while we're at it, mebbe a few changes to the training staff will help...

UConn will surprise WCBB this season.

If Paige is ready to play this season then let her play .. that's what we all look forward to .. does she need more time? let's leave that up to Paige and the people she trusts, eh? everything else is just speculation, pure and simple.

Aubrey Griffin looking to become a perimeter threat this season

I too have stated [more than a few times] that I have seen what you saw [Old Dude] from Aubrey in high school and I predicted that she would lead the team in scoring as a freshman. Well that didn't happen but mebbe something good will happen this year, eh? Fingers crossed!

Olivia Nelson-Ododa has begun her pro-international career

There's no question that LIV was a stellar defender, but running UConn's hi-post offense and her PASSING were Liv's greatest contributions and will be sorely missed this season .. her team-leading assists and screens for Paige were works-of-art, eh?

    Ayanna blind in one eye

Perfectly and accurately stated .. I m monocular too!

    Ayanna blind in one eye

No, I never favoured one side of the court over the other. My depth perception was, inexplicably, good in most endeavors, even driving a car. In fact, I won several gymkhanas in the 70s, which requires [closely] skirting numerous pylons, eh? From my experience, I think Ayanna will be fine!

    Is Aubrey a 3-pt threat?

I too saw Aubrey's final high school games where she routinely dropped 30+ points. So I predicted she would be one of UConn's top scorers as a freshman. She had ALL the tools but it didn't happen. Mebbe UConn's style just didn't fit her game, eh? Like ONO, Aubrey is still one of my favourites!

    Ayanna blind in one eye

I too am virtually blind in one eye and you would think that without binocular vision that depth perception would be a problem. Not so, since I once made [in high school] 15 out of 16 foul shots and had a very good mid-range jumper. Sorry, I can't explain it.

Watching the UConn Stanford FF game

AE was a key in the Stanford game drawing a charge on Jones and a HUGE putback at a critical juncture, eh?
