Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe St. Johns is in the same spot as us with no currently available scholarships. Obviously this can change quickly but it's important to note.
Yea they don't have any schollys either.

People who don’t want Heron even if it means sit one play one are very dumb
It’s not “dumb”. Some of us are still traumatized by the past 7 + years and want our crispy new coaching staff to stay clean.

Unless there are potential NCAA issues, anyone who doesn't want this kid is dumb. I don't know how else to put it.
Yes they are. He is PERFECT for what Hurley is looking to do. As I said earlier he's like a better version of Jared Terrell.

Clark, Ponds, Dixon, Simon, Wright, Keita, Trimble, Caraher is 8. Williams, Roberts, Earlington, and Figueroa signed is 12. They should have one scholarship open.

I don’t like players doing this but maybe they’ve known something for a while.

**** this is destined to be a 15 page mega thread by 8pm.

Boubacar Diakite is the last spot.

I would think that a recovering program on the rise with a proven winning coach in his home state 1 hour from his mom would be much more attractive than a burning ship 2 hours away.

To make room, would Hurley be allowed to ask a player to leave?

Doesn't look like anything will be happening for at least a month unless Hurley is gonna run off one of his own recruits. Summer Session 1 runs until the 29th

Is it possible that Heron could walk on? He's in state+will be making a lot of money in the not too distant future. If he's really committed to being as close to home as possible while also being in the best possible basketball situation...

I trust Jim Calhoun’s talent evaluation skills, and as a result, I’d exercise a little caution if considering yanking Gilbert’s scholarship.
It's dumb semantics to get hung up on when we all know Gilbert's scholarship would never be yanked but as of now Heron is better than everyone of our team except for maybe Adams.

No

Yea we can pull a scholarship at any point. There already is one player on shaky ground academically...
