What are you binge watching?

Carol just had an intimate experience with a woman who had access to every known lesbian sex trick in the world, and you're stuck on wanting action. I'm surprised she got out of bed.

That Carol got Zosia to start talking about herself and not the "we" is not a minor detail.

I don't know about you but I have better things to do that watch a couple of old lesbos.

I agree with both of you.
Zosia remembering what she liked and felt as an individual is important
. The pacing is glacial. But I think that is a Hitchcock style trick to help convey the boredom of this new reality. Once our Uruguayan arrives we may see some changes as Carol would be able to communicate with other than the hive.

Hopefully the last episode will deliver. The show is not as great as people are making it out to be.

I watched the premiere episode and thought it was a spoof of a sci-movie. It is right out of the 1950s. Haven't we seen this a couple of million times before?

Yeah. I thought of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which is way before my time but I am aware of it.

It’s funny to see all these people proclaim that “tHiS iS toTalLy orIGiNal”.

I didn't think of Body Snatchers. To me it's a different thing. No time was spent on the effects of loneliness or how surviving humans rationalized supporting the new aliens. IOTBS was close to a pure horror film, IMO. Gilligan's creation is more psychological.

Your opinion mAy DIffEr.

Oh it's a modern take on the same thing. Except with a couple twists, like making them invaders appear benevolent. I heard the last episode flips things upside down. Let's hope. Because this is pretty boring. I only keep saying this because it started off well and then stalled really bad.

We're simply in disagreement then. Different tastes. I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Anyway, early Christmas gift - last episode is on today, no need to wait till Friday.

Binge isn't the right word (yet). "The Copenhagen Test" is brand new on Peacock. All episodes available to stream. I only watched Ep. 1 so far but will definitely continue. Simu Liu stars as a former Special Forces operative who is now with a watch dog group that monitors all of the U.S. intelligence agencies. He's strictly in the office, not a field agent. Not a spoiler, since it's in the trailers and revealed in this episode--somebody has hacked into his brain and sees and hears everything he does. Now his agency wants to use him to try to ferret out whoever hacked him.

Also includes Melissa Barrera, which is a good thing.
