What are you binge watching?

When I was about 10 I had black double-holster Paladin 6 gun set, complete with black cowboy hat and "Have Gun Will Travel" calling cards. I WAS Wire Paladin.

Have Gun, Will Travel" reads the card of a man
A knight without armor in a savage land
A fast gun for hire heeds the calling wind
And they call him... Paladin

Back in those days when I was a submarine sailor at Pearl Harbour, I would go down to the Queens Surf bar with the Banyan tree weekdays and drink with him. He was quite a character then when he wasn't on the mainland shooting the shows.

One thing for certain - he's not driving to Albuquerque
I wondered about that. He could. Does he trust them enough to ask them to fly him?

He wouldn't be able to drive thru the Darien Gap unless he does it with a bulldozer.
Didn’t realize that. Looked it up. Maybe he will fly, maybe he’ll need a ferry to go around it. We will find out.

Having a hard time jumping into S5 of Stranger Things. I can't get past the "how many times can a group of kids outsmart and defeat some undefeatable monster"? Can someone who's seen the new episodes make me feel any differently about it?!

It's the final season, so I'm assuming they get it right this time. My issue at the moment is that some of the cast turns 30 next year.

I've seen some great memes pointing out how much the actors have aged since the show originally aired.

My one Ted Lasso beef is that Lasso never seems to understand the game. Sure you have that Finland thing or whatever it was but for the most part, he's just passive while Nate or Coach Beard develop ideas. I think the fish out of water concept works in year one, but I would have liked to have seen him develop an understanding about the game and override his assistants' advice in key moments, potentially in quirky ways. Other than that, it is an excellent series. Quirky, but good.

Mad Men is on HBO. Watch it if you haven’t seen it yet.

I started in advertising in 1977. Close enough to the time of Mad Men to smell it. Amazingly, one thing that is not exaggerated in the series is how much drinking went on in the biz back then. Getting blasted at lunch, with or without clients, was common. And yes, lots of folks had bars in their offices.

We just finished "All Her Fault" on Peacock.. Jarring.

Also started the new season of Percy Jackson on Disney+, I teach the book in school and my wife surprisingly loves the show.

Anyone else like Man on the Inside? Loved season 1 and just finished season 2.
Was just coming here to add this. My wife watched season 1 without me. I wasn't feeling it based on the description. But, with season 2 coming out I watched season 1 with her. I really enjoyed it. Ted Danson is fantastic. Season 2 was solid and fun, but season 1 was kind of perfect with how it handled aging. Just the right amount of tear jerking without going over the top.

I really love everything Michael Schur does (and I keep having to remember he was Mose on The Office). I should've just trusted him and watched Man on the Inside from Day 1, but I'm glad I had 2 seasons to watch. It's funny to see many of his favorite actors playing very different parts. Stephanie Beatriz (Didi, and was Rosa on Brooklyn 99) really impressed me. But he also has some great additions, like Stephen Henderson as Calbert.

I finally dove into Stranger Things S5 and I have one episode left. It's very good. There's enough twist and new angle this season to not just be a retread of the other seasons. Looking forward to finishing this half season up and waiting for the final episodes.

I've been catching up on 'It: Welcome to Derry'. I want to see it through to completion but good Lord is it gonna be a struggle.

Bad writing, lousy plot, mediocre actors. And perhaps worst of all scripting roles for preteens that impossibly give then psychological attributes of adults.

Can't say this is the first time I've been disappointed with a King adaptation but this is well and truly one of the worst.....and I don't imagine it was cheap to produce, either.

Do not waste your time. What an embarrassment. Then again maybe I should have expected this when I realized Steven Krajewski did not receive an EP credit; so he was not involved in the writer's room.

I just wrapped up watching Peacemaker season two. I had to re-watch the first season as it had been a while and I was reminded why I enjoyed it the first time through. Season Two was solid. They seemed to up the comedic aspect of the show and Tim Meadows, who owned ever scene he was in, was a great addition. They set themselves up for a Season Three which I will definitely watch.

We liked Season Two also. Took a couple episodes to really get going. I really like how they humanize the different players.

Unfortunately, they are not planning on a Season 3. The characters will be part of the rest of the progression of the DC universe, but no standalone season is planned.

I started Outer Banks while on a flight. Two episodes in, I'm not sure whether I'll continue or where it is going. Has anybody watched this show? Worth sticking with it?

Just watched Ep. 1 of Season 2 of Fallout. Lots of flashbacks. I've already forgotten a lot of the details from Season 1. Not inclined to rewatch it though. Seeing Ella Purnell in anything makes me happy.
