Was just coming here to add this. My wife watched season 1 without me. I wasn't feeling it based on the description. But, with season 2 coming out I watched season 1 with her. I really enjoyed it. Ted Danson is fantastic. Season 2 was solid and fun, but season 1 was kind of perfect with how it handled aging. Just the right amount of tear jerking without going over the top.Anyone else like Man on the Inside? Loved season 1 and just finished season 2.
We liked Season Two also. Took a couple episodes to really get going. I really like how they humanize the different players.I just wrapped up watching Peacemaker season two. I had to re-watch the first season as it had been a while and I was reminded why I enjoyed it the first time through. Season Two was solid. They seemed to up the comedic aspect of the show and Tim Meadows, who owned ever scene he was in, was a great addition. They set themselves up for a Season Three which I will definitely watch.
It's Vince Gilligan. There will be a payoff for the character development episodes. Not every BB or BCS was a thriller.Feel free to advance the plot at any point Pluribus.

Carol just had an intimate experience with a woman who had access to every known lesbian sex trick in the world, and you're stuck on wanting action. I'm surprised she got out of bed.Pluribus is still stuck in Molasses. It’s just a Zombie show in different wrapping paper unless the flip the script. The show started off so well too.
I agree with both of you.Carol just had an intimate experience with a woman who had access to every known lesbian sex trick in the world, and you're stuck on wanting action. I'm surprised she got out of bed.
That Carol got Zosia to start talking about herself and not the "we" is not a minor detail.

. The pacing is glacial. But I think that is a Hitchcock style trick to help convey the boredom of this new reality. Once our Uruguayan arrives we may see some changes as Carol would be able to communicate with other than the hive.Zosia remembering what she liked and felt as an individual is important

I watched the premiere episode and thought it was a spoof of a sci-movie. It is right out of the 1950s. Haven't we seen this a couple of million times before?
I didn't think of Body Snatchers. To me it's a different thing. No time was spent on the effects of loneliness or how surviving humans rationalized supporting the new aliens. IOTBS was close to a pure horror film, IMO. Gilligan's creation is more psychological.Yeah. I thought of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which is way before my time but I am aware of it.
It’s funny to see all these people proclaim that “tHiS iS toTalLy orIGiNal”.

Your opinion mAy DIffEr.
We're simply in disagreement then. Different tastes. I'm enjoying the hell out of it.Oh it's a modern take on the same thing. Except with a couple twists, like making them invaders appear benevolent. I heard the last episode flips things upside down. Let's hope. Because this is pretty boring. I only keep saying this because it started off well and then stalled really bad.
Halfway thru now, 4 out of 8 episodes. Still a decent watch IMO.Binge isn't the right word (yet). "The Copenhagen Test" is brand new on Peacock. All episodes available to stream. I only watched Ep. 1 so far but will definitely continue. Simu Liu stars as a former Special Forces operative who is now with a watch dog group that monitors all of the U.S. intelligence agencies. He's strictly in the office, not a field agent. Not a spoiler, since it's in the trailers and revealed in this episode--somebody has hacked into his brain and sees and hears everything he does. Now his agency wants to use him to try to ferret out whoever hacked him.
Also includes Melissa Barrera, which is a good thing.
I've been talking about this over in the binge watching thread. The Copenhagen Test. A first-generation analyst realizes his brain's hacked, allowing access to his senses. Stuck between the agency and hackers, he acts normal to reveal the culprits.
This just came out a couple days ago. I liked it. It's better than the reviews.

In order for me to watch this, I need someone to tell me how, if his brain is hacked, the hackers don't know he's trying to entrap them. Seems to me that's a huge plot hole. The Copenhagen Test.
