What are you binge watching?

I may have to binge NewsRadio. Someone mentioned Joe Rogan and I didn't know too much about his career. Found this clip of Joe, Maura Tierney and Tiffany Thiessen

He didn't have a huge part in the success of that show and pretty much played a dumb jock character.

He played an Italian. Joe Garrelli, Joey Tribbiani, Tony Banta, Vinnie Barbarino, Bobby Bacala.

Like Joe, I would almost certainly be entirely transfixed and mesmerized by Tiffani Amber Thiessen. Maura is attractive but went HS with my wife so I'd need to look away.

Same here. Notre Dame Academy? I always liked Maura in "er." I never watched Rogan before but I was watching this special with Magnus Carlsen and I'm thinking, he has a 2 hour special with the best grandmaster in the world. It's a pretty good show.

Yeah. Norte Dame in Hingham. My law school roommate went to HS with Brad Pitt. So I suppose he wins.

I've gone back in time (yes I do have a Hot Tub Time Machine) to watch M I - 5 on Britbox. First couple seasons are a bit dated, so I jumped to S4. Strong British secret service drama. I just hope the USA has a similar department because the stuff those "entitled" Brits were trying to pull is probably on some top American politician's playbook.

I strongly recommend MI 5, but start at S3 or S4. There are 10 seasons.

Love the Hot Tub Time Machine reference, LOL.

I enjoyed NewRadio with other cast members such as Dave Foley, Phil Hartman, Vicki Lewis, Khandi Alexander and Stephen Root as boss Jimmy. Hartman was great in this show and his demise was such a loss.

Two episodes...boring. Nothing has happened, plot hasn't moved forward. But there are a bunch of extremely annoying characters at least.
Annoying characters seems to be the driving force of the show.

Season two of “Rouge Heroes” was really well done. I looked up a lot of the actions depicted and they stayed pretty true to the real history. I didn’t like the guy who played Monty. He was miscast. I think they could have done better there. Overall, for a series that admits it’s not a history lesson, they do a really good job. The female spy is not a real historical figure, but is based on several actual WW2 female spies. Still, she adds to the show in a good way. Only 6 episodes, so disappointingly short. It ends with the jump behind the lines on D-Day. I fervently hope for a 3rd season. It was two years between the first two, so we may be in for a bit of a wait.

Of course I meant “Rogue Heroes”. Rouge Heroes would be a good name for a line of make up though.

There's always that, but at least some of them or the story line they are wrapped up in is somewhat compelling. This year, not so much. I'm through 3 episodes. I'm gonna give it 1 more, if it doesn't improve I'm out.

Walton Goggins is a fantastic actor but they've given him an absolutely awful character, there's just nothing he can do with it.

Ahahahhah the guy with the props was fantastic on Jury Duty also

'Alto Knights' was pretty pretty awesome, especially if you like gangster flicks in the Scorcese genre.

Cannot wait for Season 2 of 'The Last of Us'. May.

I started The Bear's new season. Episode 1 was...boring I guess? Does it get better or is this show cooked because it takes itself too seriously (like all the characters do).

You hit it on the head, it takes itself way too seriously. The whole season is annoying and goes nowhere. It culminates with a bunch of chefs talking about how important they are.

It doesn't move the storyline of the restaurant forward. Each episode is basically a deep dive into the backstory of a major character. It can be considered self-indulgent or useful info depending on one's attitude.

Little P.S.A. "Andor" Season 1 is available on Hulu. Not sure how Disney let some of their exclusive content become available to people who aren't paying for Disney+...but I for one will take the opportunity to check it out. I've heard it was a really good show.

I think the game plan is that eventually there will all be under one subscription, Disney+, Hulu and ESPN plus

Eventually? That's what I have now.

I have Hulu w/ ESPN+, don't have Disney+, don't really desire to have it.

I'm not binging, but 5 episodes into Andor. Still enjoying it. I kind of look at it as a bridge between the prequel trilogy (if it had been done competently) and Rogue One. There's a lot going on. Political intrigue, and a look behind the curtain of the bureaucracy of the Empire. One small cell of the resistance. And a handler that is pulling the strings. The life of people just scraping by on a planet that is a bit remote from the Capital, but not far end of the galaxy remote. Not very well known cast other than Diego Luna and Stellan Skarsgard, I guess Adria Arjona to a lesser degree.

It took me most of the week to finally get around to the most recent episode of White Lotus. Didn't even make it half way thru, I'm pulling the plug. 3 1/2 episodes and it's still gone absolutely nowhere. This season is just terrible.

Reacher is still pretty good. 6 episodes, I think there are 8 this season so it's getting close to the finale.

I've still been enjoying The Hunting Party.
