Like it or not, this is a rebuilding year where we could be good at the end, or not. My take on the game:
CD--She is what she is, a very good all around point guard who will usually be a complementary piece on offense, not a go to scorer.
KW--She can be a difference maker on both ends, when her jumper isn't falling and the defense can collapse on her drive, she will struggle on offense.
AM--I think she has an outside shot that she hasn't been able to use yet, either because of adjusting to the level of play or nerves. She moves well without the ball and her teammates miss her being wide open at times. She'll eventually be very good.
MW--She's a star now. It's just a matter of how much help she gets.
ONO--Enormous improvement, although she's still a little raw in terms of game feel, she can score, pass, rebound, and block shots. When the refs call tighter games, she will be in foul trouble.
AG--Gabby Williams has walked back through the door. When she stops being a liability on offense, her ability as a defensive stopper will be invaluable.
EA--She has to be the backup center, and I hope she adjusts to the point she can give minutes when ONO is on the bench with fouls.
