Bottom 3rd, Simeone strands a runner at 2B to end the inning. 1-0 UNO. 58 pitches for Simeone.
 
Bottom 4th, Simeone in trouble with the bases loaded and two out. He gets out of it when Christian Fedko catches a line drive. 1-0 UNO. Simeone at 82 pitches. It would not surprise me if he comes out after this inning.

Top 5th, UConn goes down in order for the second straight inning. Simeone comes to the mound to start the bottom of the 5th. Can't imagine he'll stick around if runners get on base this inning, he has been struggling some all night.
 
Bottom 5th, Simeone issues a one out walk, Will Lucas coming in to pitch.
 
Will Lucas gets the next two batters out to end the inning. 1-0 UNO.
 
Top 6th, UConn with a potential rally going with a Winkel double followed by a Christian Fedko single. Runners on the corners with no out.
 
Winkel and Gozzo are giving up a chance to steal this one, despite UNO playing very well. This would be a tough one for the pioneers to lose if we win this.
 
Lucas gives up a leadoff walk followed by a double. No out with runners at 2B and 3B in the bottom of the 6th, Pat Gallagher coming in to pitch. Single brings in a run to give UNO a 2-1 lead with no out.
 
After two nice plays by Petersen at 3B leading to outs including getting a runner at the plate, a single drives in two more runs. 4-1 UNO going to the top of the 7th.
 
That crooked number needs to come now so Penders can use our best bullpen arms to try to win this thing. Otherwise, he potentially wastes them if the offense cannot get a couple more.
 
Top 7th, Nucerino pinch hitting for Stock walks. Petersen with a one out double, his first hit as a Husky, puts two runners on base in scoring position. With Bushling strikes out for the second out, UNO takes their starting pitcher out.
 
Winkel steals 2B, but Christian Fedko strikes out to end the inning.
 
Bottom 7th, Gallagher stays on the mound to start the inning.
 
A walk, single, then a FC to get the force runner out at third. Need to hold them to 0 here.
