The starters played the first quarter.
Unless Tulsa ties the game which I don't think will happen, I'd like to see the reserves play the rest of the game. we already know what the starters can do. Let's see how the bench plays when they're a little tired.

I agree, especially KLS who has a bum ankle and eye.

Yes. "Hey I'm just trying to get people playing time, you know? I guess we gotta find out at some point what we got and there's no better time than right now. These guys had a tough game Monday night and I thought this would be a great time to do that. Think we're going back with the starters in the 3rd quarter."

Well, maybe. He may be trolling us a bit, though. "You want 'em ? You got 'em!"

I wonder what the benchies themselves are thinking. There's a strange sort of pressure involved with putting them on the court in this way, with Geno clearly sending a message. I'd give them a C or C- for their performance as a unit in their only early game foray this season. Could be worse.

It’s one of those, “Damn if you do, damn if you don’t.” Somehow we’ve become so judgmental of Geno. It’s like he didn’t know how to Coach all of a sudden per the board .

Good execution by the group. I would like to see them come out in the third quarter with the same group . The game is won. I'm really enjoying watching the bench play.

15 point lead after one quarter, 15 point lead at the half. The subs weren’t great, but they held down the fort reasonably well. Geno says starters back in for the third quarter.
