Here is list of The Top 25 players from ESPNW Class of 2026 rankings. Depending on what happens after graduation and possible end of season movement we may have more than two openings available. Right now we have two. For most of us have Olivia Vukosa is our main priority for this recruiting class. Kate Harpring is also a definite need. This class is loaded with guards or wings. Anyone one of them would be another great addition to this class for UConn.

My top 3 gets for UConn, #1 big O Vukosa, #2 Kate Harpring, #3 McKenna Woliczko, that's all we need to continue Husky tradition.

There is no interest between Woliczko and UConn either way.

GA approach to NIL does not include guarantee, direct payments but rather providing lots of opportunities to earn nil money
there are numerous schools committing to guarantee payment
South Carolina currently commits to $25,000 per player
Fair to say that there are numerous schools offering direct payments in their recruiting of players
How much is influences the recruiting of the very top players remains to be seen but safe to say
It’s a real factor
I call Bull.

UConn does have direct payments to players. Remember the law suits? Schools MUST pay students for money made on their name, image and likeness. UConn has an NIL collective. The money it collects must be distributed to the players. It can’t be used for other purposes.

We just don’t know how much UConn distributes each year or how it is distributed. Equal shares or based on playing time or based on a production formula?

SCar, whom you mentioned, paid equal 25 k per player a few years ago. I hear that’s about doubled now because collective donations have increased. Remember, what is collected less overhead must go to the players. Equal distribution of all collective money is intended to maintain team spirit from the time you are a freshman in the bench. The starters at money through personal sponsors as their names become more well known.

some schools like U$C have not been able to raise much through NIL collectives. Instead, they focus on hooking a JuJu up with her own personal deals with sponsors. They even have a General Manager who focuses on this. Other schools are quietly turning to wbb General Managers, ( Scar also helps hookup sponsors too - but after they are on campus - not in the recruiting process)

My guess is that UConn’s model is more like SCar’s than U$C’s because Geno focuses more on team than Star - but who know’s for sure.

The point is every P-4 and the like has NIL and they must use it. Including UConn.
