No - they avoid it like others did/do.

You can deservedly take the pokes @ PP for offense debacles - not defense.

I do. He's been hands-off the defense since he's been here- which is why I believe it's been so good.

He and his BFFL have been running the offense; and we have seen their results.

I'd be willing to bet that out of all the teams to have 3 or more top 70 picks we have the worst record.

Jordan Reed could be a role model for Scott McCummings. Same ht and wt--not sure about speed--but Reed was QB at New London went to Fla and became productive (drafted) TE.

So we went to a bowl and were nationally ranked like just about every one of those other teams, right?

You mean other than the players themselves - both SIo and BWW publicly gave PP credit for helping them become better players.

Maybe this season he'll win some football games.

Just watched a press conference with Jacksonville Jaguars HC Gus Bradley. He really really liked and wanted Gratz. He said they were literally standing with their fingers crossed "he's still there, he's still there....".

It's on the Jags website. It's really long, but I'll post the link if you want.

All three have given PP plenty of credit on what they need to do to get to the next level. They have been very supportive, actually given high praise. A few on this board will criticize PP at every turn.

Gratz going ahead of Blidi is a real mind bender. Do these scouts do any studying at all? To make a Beatles analogy, Blidi has been our Paul McCartney and Gratz has been George Harrison and some mutton head with a stop watch picked George over Paul.

I want to be a scout.

All in the eye (ear) of the beholder. In the end... Both made boodles of money and they are both in the R+R Hall of Fame. Here's hoping for a similar track for our rock stars :)

Everything is in the eye of the beholder, I would take George over Paul. I also like brunettes more than blondes.

My God man, your a Mets fan. Do you realize you see things completely different than the real world?

My money is on the scouts but with a hedged bet that both guys have similar careers.

We're on page 5 and no one has mentioned Randy Edsall's name yet. Seems he should get a little bit of credit for at least recruiting these guys.

A Die Hard UConn Bball fan, but also been a DieHard Raiders fan since as far back as I could remember. Ended up playing ball at USAFA.....suffice to say I haven't really kept up w/ the UConn fb squad.

Having looked over some tape on the kid, I'm pretty siked, Sio seems like steal at #66 for the Raiders (& we need all the help we can get)

All three have given PP plenty of credit on what they need to do to get to the next level.

Sio did a radio interview with the Raider Station at in Cali...... he has a great personality/character....good interview/ worth a listen.
He did give Coach Edsall props at the end of the convo
