Awesome for Ryan and his family.

And a great draft so far for the Huskies.

Let this be inspiration for the players on the current team.

No excuses. If you work hard, listen to the coaches and prepare yourself properly, you can get a ticket to the League.

Hope Uconn has the draft on a replay loop in the weight room all summer.

Right or wrong - pretty much an a comment from a "national" reporter:

@YahooForde 5 UConn players drafted so far, or 1 per win in '12. How's Pasqualoni hire working out so far?

Well, he has a point.........

I said right or wrong, but Forde has a major %&#@ for UConn. Never misses a chance to trash the school/programs (Football or Basketball). Former ESPN mouthpiece and Pitino lover.

Through 177 of 254 picks:
  1. Alabama 8
  2. Florida 8
  3. Louisiana State 8
  4. Florida State 8
  5. Georgia 6
  6. Texas A&M 5
  7. North Carolina 4
  8. Connecticut 4
  9. Southern California 4
  10. South Carolina 4
Where is Cuse, Pitt, BC, Wake, Clem, Va, VTech and...... Not to mention a bunch a B1G teams.

Every other year. 2009 4 were drafted, 2011 4 drafted, 2013 5 drafted, 2015 6?

I wish I knew how to like this tweet in this forum.

last i checked, we had more picks than any big ten team

Can't think of one sure draft pick next year.

Let the season play out.

Uconn will have 3-5 draftable players by the time the season is over.

Per @NFLDraftBible former Northwest Catholic star Mike Golic Jr. signs as free agent with Steelers

Born in NJ but... Another CT HS product.

We could get 10 in the draft - going nowhere with out fans in the seats.

So brave of you to put the burden on the fans now that we are in a league with Directional Florida, Memphis, SMU, and Houston because our school was asleep at the wheel for years and because leagues have looked for every reason NOT to invite us. IF UConn was in the Big 10 or ACC and Michigan or Florida State or even Purdue came to town the Rent would be sold out easy. Now if fans don't go to games vs SMU in December to see if Coach P can get us win #6 and a strip to St. Pete it's our fault we are where we are. Bull. If your expecting the fans to carry us to the promised land following a 5-7 team in a league with no national brand names coming to town your on crack.

If I had a dollar for every empty seat I saw at a Pitt game in recent years I'd be retired. Didn't seem to hurt them.

Smallwood and Shamar Stephen.

Possibly Graham Stewart and Byron Jones if they have big years. If Kevin Friend bounces back he might have a chance.

Hopefully Masters and Ryan Wirth sign on with a team tomorrow.
