You think I'm talking about uconn?Unless there is regulation, the only way stability will happen is if UConn forces their way into the top ranks of P4. And even then what we knew as stability will probably not materialize.

Keelan Marion, Cam Ross, Justin Joly, Aaron Turner,...A little concerned we’ve had zero success developing WRs. I know Bell definitely got better here but we haven’t had any high school recruits get built. Still haven’t seen Harper get good reps. Saw Hicks nice but he plays DB now.
Already committed to Arkansas St according to On3
Thanks - Storrs Central mentioned he wanted to be closer to home.Already committed to Arkansas St according to On3
The Ivy's will too now that they will participate in the FCS playoffs. They basically can pay players whatever and not even make a dent in their endowment.Duke has an unlimited fund.

It is not unusual for head coaches to occupy endowed chairs, although I have no specific knowledge of Ivy Schools doing this. I think it would be highly unusual given their philosophical views of the place of athletics in the institution, for them to use unrestricted endowments to pay athletes. And actually, now that I think about it, since the Ivies did not opt in to the settlement, that would be breaking NCAA rules as well. The Ivy's will too now that they will participate in the FCS playoffs. Yes but those are individually endowed. It probably gets counted into the endowment but those specific endowments have been earmarked for that purpose. It is not unusual for head coaches to occupy endowed chairs, although I have no specific knowledge of Ivy Schools doing this. Edsall recruit, Edsall recruit, tight end, Edsall recruit....Keelan Marion, Cam Ross, Justin Joly, Aaron Turner,...
Well, they cannot use institutional funds unless they opt in and they have decided to stay out.Yes but those are individually endowed. It probably gets counted into the endowment but those specific endowments have been earmarked for that purpose.
I do not doubt if the ivies want to get into the pay game a simple "all call" to donors will get it done. It remains to be seen if that's the posture they want.
Since the portal, recruiting has changed. 4 and 5 star recruits are generally going to go to a P4 school at first and if they transfer, UConn has a shot at recruiting them. In the case of WRs, UConn is able to recruit through the portal high 3* and 4* WRs which UConn can't recruit out of high school. Guys like Bell, Porter, and Sheffield.Edsall recruit, Edsall recruit, tight end, Edsall recruit....
I could’ve been more clear, but I meant for this staff.
Out under the wire: RB Mel Brown
Still disappointing to see Mel leave. Two of the best backs from last season are now gone.Rosa must be running well
