Both games today they have put Devanney up as the catcher in the TV lineup graphic but Pat Winkel is catching.
 
Love seeing Randy out there. Still remember facing him in high school. I’m a couple years older, so it wasn’t his 2x FCIAC POY final form, but even still he was formidable. Always pulling for my fellow FCIAC guys, and it’s been nice seeing Penders making inroads there the last decade. Next (and final) step is getting commits from the Chad Knight, Miles Langhorne type prospects that tend to go ACC/Vanderbilt
 
Bottom 1st, UConn goes down in order pending a replay review. Stock is called safe at 1st on the review, 2 out. Ground out ends the inning.
 
Top 2nd, my dinner time is approaching fast, that will make my stomach happy. Even though my wife is a big UConn baseball fan, she really does put up with me when it comes to UConn baseball.
 
Top 3rd, Marrero in to pitch, and he is having control problems, walking the first hitter and hitting the second with no outs.

Man it’s starting to not look like our day. They have all the energy today. Thought we could have carried the 9th inning forward but that stalled early.
