Love seeing Randy out there. Still remember facing him in high school. I’m a couple years older, so it wasn’t his 2x FCIAC POY final form, but even still he was formidable. Always pulling for my fellow FCIAC guys, and it’s been nice seeing Penders making inroads there the last decade. Next (and final) step is getting commits from the Chad Knight, Miles Langhorne type prospects that tend to go ACC/Vanderbilt

Top 2nd, my dinner time is approaching fast, that will make my stomach happy. Even though my wife is a big UConn baseball fan, she really does put up with me when it comes to UConn baseball.

Man it’s starting to not look like our day. They have all the energy today. Thought we could have carried the 9th inning forward but that stalled early.

Bottom 3rd, a line drive double play takes the steam out of a potential rally for UConn as the Huskies had 2 runners on base with no out when it happened. UConn still strands 2 runners on base. 1-0 Xavier.

Another thing is this team is very good at coming back. They never seem to be truly out of any game. When you follow virtually every game in the season, it really becomes a nice trait to take in.
