While they're all different players and could play different roles, I doubt a 3rd guy (presumably Young) would sign on if we got the other two.

If Cole didn’t play for his father and if DH didn’t know RJ what are the chances he comes to UConn. I realize that he went to JCs camp but without the connection, you may wonder. Glad he did

Relationships are huge in this sport and the Hurleys’ connections definitely did not hurt.

But also, as you said, RJ was coming to Calhoun’s UConn camp as a youngster and considered it his dream school, so that did not hurt either.
