The games look to fall into 3 categories:
1. Marquee matchups of both ranked teams, 1 ranked and a near ranked or conference leaders jockeying for position in the standings
2. Mismatched of ranked vs. mediocre/poor teams
3. Yuk/does anyone really care the score or who wins (other than parents/alumni)
NOON
Cin @ UCF -- ESPNU Cat #1-UCF is 2nd in AAC and Cin thinks they belong (but they don’t

Wake @ #1 ND Cat #2 blowout
Miss @ #16 UK -- SEC #3
DeP @ Vill— #1 as both try to score 2nd place in BigEast
BC @ Pitt #3 as its Boston let’s pull in a quote from the royal rooters “Nuf ced”
Kan @ Kan St. #3

#10 Ore St @ USC #1 (at the moment) asUSC wants right the ship but this could also be a #2 mismatch
UNC @ #12 Syr #1 as NCheat is, in theory, good so far, my view is #2 as I think UNCheat is showing cracks
#13 Tenn @ UGa -- ESPN #1 as Georgia tries to build on the MSU game to show they are good, and Tenn wants to prevent a game slide and stay relevant
#25 Ind @ Wis #1 as Indiana WAS undefeated before tOSU beat ‘em and Wisconsin is showing signs of life under Tsipis
WVU @ Okla #3 even though this could morph into #2
RU @ Neb -- BTN #1 as Rutgers leads the BIG10- whodda thunk?
Vandy @ Ark -- SEC+ #3, #3, #3
Colo @ Wash St see above and add a #3

5 PM
#5 Ore @ UCLA #1
#21 SC @ LSU #2 as both vie for 3rd place

7 PM
#24 Cal @ #19 Ariz St #1

Who agrees?

I'm interested in the results of all the Pac 12 games, but some are certainly more compelling match ups than others.

That's a busy day, full slate of games.

Lots of mismatches as @DefenseBB points out.

The games I find most interesting:

Stanford-Arizona
Tennessee-Georgia
Oregon-UCLA
South Carolina-LSU
Cal-Arizona St

Notice I said "interesting," not "pretty to look at."

While I find Stanford / Arizona a compelling game on many levels - and really, really wish I could be there - I actually don't expect Arizona to do very well. Not only is Stanford pretty darn good this season, but Arizona is limited. We are worlds better than we have been, and have some decent players in addition to McDonald, but . . .

Rutgers will, hopefully, continue rolling over Nebraska. They are not going undefeated in the B1G, but Nebraska would not be a pretty game to lose.

I don't agree with all the "ranking" of the games that were posted above, but am way too tired to contribute any cogent disagreement.

Tenn Georgia should be fun in a aspect of seeing if Holly can right the ship I don’t think she can. If Georgia plays like they did against Miss St. they’ll win. It seems Holly finds all the ways in the world for Her team to lose.

An intriguing tweet from LaChina, who is normally so relentlessly positive:

I wonder which teams she has in mind?

Kudos to UCF for having the full complement of cheerleaders, the mascot, and a massive pep band at the women’s game. Nice support from the school.

I like Christy Thomaskutty, color analyst on the UCF-Cincy game. She's one of the good ones.

It’s 7-4 UCF with 4:47 left in Q1. Lots of energy but some questionable offense by both teams.

Cincinnati needs to beef up. They have a lot of slender players that need to hit the gym. I also want to say Cincinnati isn’t a bad team. The score is misleading because several good shots popped out of the basket when I thought they be in

Shots finally falling for Cincinnati and they’re up 14-7 with about a minute l ft in Q1.

This game was s not a masterpiece aesthetically but I’ve seen lots worse

UCF cranks up defense and it’s now 14-11

I've noticed that UCF isn't really a great shooting team, averaging 42% FG and 68% FT. This is why they seem to always be in close or somewhat close games, even against much inferior teams.

.-.
Anyone that thinks college women are fragile little flowers that shouldn’t hear swear words should sit court side sometime. Lots of bad words by players after missed shots

UCF having trouble guarding the perimeter

19-16 Cincy who can’t stop fouling the UCF big girl

Freshman post Brittney Smith has come off the bench to give UCF a lift on offense.

But I'm not surprised that Coach Abe is most upset about the defense. UCF averages only 53.5 points allowed per game, 10th in the country.

I've watched UCF play several times this year, and this is by far the worst I've seen them look. They already have 9 turnovers, and they just look flat and low-energy. Coach Abe calls timeout with Cincy ahead by 10.

UCF did not have good body language in the huddle. Couple players were staring off into the distance

....that shouldn’t hear swear words should sit court side sometime. Lots of bad words by players after missed shots
...and we're proud of that? For me, play within the game and show sportsmanship and regardless of the school affiliation, I will respect you.

I’m actually somewhat impressed with Cincy. UConn can make any team look worse than they are

Cincy up 32-24

I’m guessing you’ve never played sports

UCF is just 1-5 from the FT line. Maybe the early start time isn't agreeing with them?

Wright is trying to will them back into this game. She's shooting inefficiently but has 10 points.

Kay Kay, why are you fouling 30 feet from the bucket with 4 seconds on the clock?

UCFs Kay Kay Wright is chippy player. I’ve seen a couple smacked faces, a few shoves, and one outright tackle.

It’s 32-28 Cincy at the half

I am thinking more of the behavior of one Ms.Arike Ogunbawole and Ms. Marina Mabry and their mouths, actions, body language that I could do without. Of course heat of the moment issues within oneself can cause that but you need to control your emotions, not let your emotions control you. I had been know as a bit of a "hot head" myself at times but was able to control that better by the time I got to college with the help of my collegiate coach.

I think you’re making a big deal out of this. The players aren’t losing control, they’re just dropping a bomb when they miss. That’s how young people talk; I know. I was quartermaster of the high school marching band and mentor of the robotics team. Kids casually drop 4 letter word into their sentences as everyday adjectives.

By far their leading scorer, averaging 19 ppg.

unfortunately seems to be an example of a player who moves a lot faster when she has the ball than without it

She also likes to throw herself into the defender to draw a foul.

Disciplined teams generally do well against undisciplined ones and that’s the case here. Cincy up 41-32
