Funny how we lost 8 games that year and were a 4 seed. I don’t recall 15 pages and counting on how bad we suck and have no tournament potential.

This obviously isnt even close to the worst team we've had under Hurley but I think it's the least enjoyable to watch. It's torture. Something is so off about them

Not winning the BE is a big disappointment but the main prize is still the NCAA tourney. Burn the tape & move on Hope the team’s healthy. This team is still very capable of making a deep run.

Hurley believes our team will thrive out of the BE, he talks about it constantly. He dug at St. John’s in the postgame indicating their pushing and thug play would not be tolerated in the tourney. He didn’t phrase it that way but he knows more about basketball than we all do so we’ll see.

I’m sure that this take will be not popular but finishing 31-6 and making it to the sweet 16 is actually an excellent result and where this teams likely seems to be headed

Have you watched the NBA lately? He won’t get touched if he’s a perimeter guy. This game will probably the most physical for the rest of his career 😂

Someone may have already asked, but when was the last time the Huskies scored 52 points or less? I'm at a loss for words over how bad that was.

I’m sick of hearing it at this point, I believe in Hurley, but I think he needs a full reset on expectations/roster construction. Not every team needs to be an oversimplified rendition of 2024.

Fans definitely overreact but to be fair Hurley was mouthing “we suck” on the court early in the game tonight. So either it’s not an overreaction to just this game, Hurley is overreacting too, or some are overreacting thinking this result will apply to non Big East games.

I'd call that a disappointment - you should always hope to live up to your seeding, which is the Elite 8. We lose there, our accomplishment was beating a 7 seed. Not what I'd call a gratifying season as a preseason top 5 team.

I just want to see what Hurley is made of in this one. It's a flawed team he put together with some kind of plan in mind. Many of us have been calling this a pack of genius'. Now we are all hoping non BE refs open things up. Maybe in his head he thinks he's building for the big dance and we should trust it. He flames out, that trust is waning. And I'd hope he'd be smart enough to really put pen to paper on the roster this go, versus holding on for dear life to old parts that don't really work that well.

Yeah, on the DNA stuff, the B2B jargon needs to get killed after this year unless they actually win something. I'm pretty sick of the schtick myself.

The Huskies’ coach provided a positive update on his point guard, Silas Demary Jr., who had to be helped into the locker room with three and a half minutes remaining. He was told that it was a “very mild (ankle) sprain with no swelling.”

“Obviously we’ll take precautions with an X-ray,” he said. “We’ll keep our fingers crossed. I mean, it didn’t look– hopefully it’s not something that lingers.”
