I just tuned in, what happened to Bibby?
I missed it, but went down to injury in the opening minutes and won't be returning. Someone else here said it looked ACL-like.

Grissett bodying up McCowan. 6’1” vs 6’7”.

This is BY FAR the best I've seen SC play this year. They look like a completely transformed team.

When was the last time SC started out shooting 6 of 6 from three?

It feels like MSU is weathering the storm. Lost Bibby early to injury, lost Howard to foul trouble...
Some axioms come to mind...mostly, it all evens out in the end that they will not be shooting 85% from 3 pt land or 70% from the floor for the full game. I have faith in MSU...

AEH takes a charge on the help defense and she is fired up.

Looks like Mizzou righte the ship after a gaff against Florida- beating Georgia 25-13 at the half (making @eebmg happy) and surprising only 3 fouls call on Mizzou for the game...:)

Hey SEC...shut me up. Can't can you?? Oh ok

You wanna complain about Myah Taylor and Bre'Amber Scott some more? I seriously wanna hear what you legitimately can find to complain on them about in this game so far.

Wow, Vic is on the verge of tears talking about Bibby in the halftime interview.

That reaction suggests it's likely a season-ending injury. :(

More like a football score.

OMG. Such a likeable kid. I guess AEH will need to play a bigger role?

Rebounding margin is 23-7 right now. Just ridiculous.

SC was shooting the lights out of the ball until latter part of 2Q. Given that combined with the loss of Bibby and the foul trouble for Howard, I'd say Mississippi State did well to be up 5 at the half.

To be fair, SC was hurt by Kiki's foul trouble as well. The second half could be a completely different saga.

Transfers having an effect:

Espinosa-hunter...remember her? Up for a cup of tea with UConn

and Te'a Cooper (the brawler) formerly of UTenn
Boy, could they use her now.

Rebecca and Andy are doing the same thing at the half talking about Sophie Cunningham. Giving these players way too much lattitude on their behavior. If it's dirty call it that. They won't do it.

South Carolina looks really good. Our bench looks better than I thought they would.

I actually agree with Rebecca on this. Sophie isn't as bad as Arike but for whatever reason she's gotten all the publicity.

Interesting stat:

Mississippi St is currently 2nd in the nation (just barely behind Oregon) in scoring offense at 91.1 ppg.
