Recruiting already!?! I like his attitude, no time wastedThere is a lot of talk of an announcement at sometime tomorrow. Probably after he meets with URI. There is talk of him already recruiting from a very good source.
well at least we know the source isn't @Sourced by "one of the top civil litigators in the US"
...
...
Seems more like he is using URI and Pitt to get more money from UConn.
Bruh it's URI. They're not that bright. From URI board:
Calhoun is pissed at UCONN for the way they treated Glen Miller. That is why Calhoun is now the coach of St Joseph’s in Hartford with Miller as his Assoc HC. He waited for his consulting contract with UCONN to expire and then started working for St Joseph’s immediately.
They certainly have their finger on the pulse.
Koch is in the know about URIThe URI message board said zags and this Koch guy are the ones they go by apparently
Koch is in the know about URI
Signed on the dotted line?Yep, my friend/source texted me. It's done.
Yeah! Calhoun really stuck it to UConn by taking the D3 St. Joes job after he no longer was a UConn employee! From URI board:

Ed Cooley made a point (for Hurley we surmise). That it was a shame that they are not supported more in the beautiful Ryan Center. Hurley has been upset about apathy at URI for a while.Probably why Hurley said this the other day:
"As a program, the investments will have to increase, but that's like with any program trying to get better. You have to rely on the expectations with your investment, and these players deserve to operate at the highest level in our league."
He's hiding out for fear that he will be subpoenaed as the key witness in the case of UConn v Kevin Ollie. It's the right thing for him to do.
Yes but he knows Hurley well. If he says it’s done it’s doneBut not UCONN (who would have the details of a signed contract before URI).
