Andre Drummond had a career game against against the 76ers Sunday night, recording 31 points (12-15 FG), 19 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 blocks.

Drummond set career-highs in points, rebounds, field goals made, and steals. He is now averaging 13.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game, all while leading the league in field goal percentage at 65.2%.

I'll try to make and post a video of his complete highlights later today.

watching Pacers/Clips, how is Drummond scoring? Mix of activity around the rim and post ups?

He had 12 field goals. He probably created 3 for himself with his back to the bucket. Once he had his first effort blocked low and then re-gathered and went up really strong for an and one. He had a really impressive spin move 10 feet from the bucket and drive in the fourth. He had a couple tip ins, a put back with an and one (rugged play where he abused Hawes), a couple alley oops, a couple quick layups on passes when defense broke down, one cherry picking layup (finishing despite being fouled), a great catch on a bullet pass for an and one in the seam of a zone.

First bucket of the game went to him on a little misdirection down screen play where he made a great catch for a layup. The timing was a little off and it looked like the ball was going o/b, but he reached out and pulled it in.

He ended up 7-18 at the line - making 4 in a row before missing his last one. He was a bit unlucky early with some rim-outs, then went into a brick phase in the third before looking much better in the fourth.

Well, they would have stopped fouling him on purpose if he was 17-18 at the line.

Thunder/Twolves should be highly entertaining, JLamb just put a crossover on Kevin Martin and finished with a high sweeping layup off the glass

Bummer was that he got such a quick hook today. He might have lost Mbah a Moute for a layup on D (either that or it was a bungled switch), but that was his only blemish - he was 2-2 and found Collison a few times with good passes. Then Reggie Jackson gets a couple quick TOs and they went back to starters very early. Would have been nice to see them run a play or two for him after he got off to a good start.

Yea that hook was way too early for only one screwup that I could see, which was him losing Mbah a Moute. He didn't come in until about the 3 minute mark of the 1st quarter and then was already out of there at about the 8 minute mark of the 2nd quarter.

Kemba had an up and down night, but finished with 27 in a bad loss at Miami (bad in the sense of being up 14 in the fourth quarter). For some reason I don't get which is on Clifford, Kemba played the whole second half. Miami really pressures the perimeter hard on high screens, making you work hard to get around traps, and he was exhausted down the stretch. Had to force up a couple shots and had a couple turnovers. Against some teams you can get away with Kemba playing all 24, but the Heat is probably the last team I'd recommend that against, the way they guard you. Other bummer was that he wanted 26. Tried to miss the last foul shot down by two and banked it in.

Ray had a 38-year-old night. Non factor.

Damn - Drummond started today with 6 rebounds in 3 minutes against the Heat, but same ref called him for two chintzy little fouls on Bosh. One was an inconsequential hold off the ball and the other was the ref's imagination. Would have been nice to see him stay on the floor with that early start.

Drummond finishes with 10 points and 18 rebounds in about 20 minutes. He had one really nice driving bucket for a lefty layup where it looked like he might barrel some people over but instead knifed through them with an agile move, and also dribbled the length of the court to draw a foul on Bosh. Missed both, of course, but he made his next two.

Lamb more than likely just exited the game for good with another efficient night in limited minutes, 11 pts on 4/7 shooting in only 18 minutes. OKC had worked up a pretty good margin of about 15+ entering the 4th but the Kings have cut into and of course like Brooks is known to do, has gone with DFish to play next to Westbrook and Jackson to close it out, despite Fish getting burned a few times by Isiah Thomas on D.

shockingly he's back in to close it out and just hit a big 3 as OKC tries to hold off a Kings comeback

It's time for Brooks to ease up the leash on Lamb - he should be playing 25-30 minutes on a nightly basis, and closing out more games than he currently is.

In other news, I can't wait until the day I never have to watch Fisher play again.

Absolutely. He's a better player than Fisher and Sefolosha right now. He plays D just as hard and has the wing span to bother shooters, so you don't lose anything at that end any more. Isaiah Thomas was torching everyone else but missed both his shots over Lamb (he did get Lamb with an upfake, but Lamb had to get out there on him because he had just hit two in a row from that spot). And Lamb is more dangerous on offense.

Sometimes we get frusturated with out late game offense, but same stuff happens at that level - everyone stand around and watch one guy go (Durant, Thomas, Westbrook).

I couldn't believe he put him back in when he exited with about 8 minutes to go but Fish was getting cooked by Isiah Thomas and put the Thunder in the penalty early with dumb fouls so Brooks really no had choice but to get him out of there. Pretty big statement by Brooks to go Lamb instead of Thabo though, and it paid off with that 3 when Lamb usually defers in the closing minutes. Lamb really should be at 25 minutes at the minimum and Brooks could get time for Perry Jones if he cut back on Fish's minutes since Fish is usually in with another PG anyway.

OKC's closing lineup should be Westbrook-Lamb-Sefolosha-Durant-Ibaka without question...maybe Jackson in there ahead of Lamb in certain situations against smaller guards. Sefolosha can allow Lamb to guard the opposition's second best wing on defense, and Lamb's shooting takes some pressure off Durant and Westbrook.

For a while last season, it looked like this was going to go poorly for Lamb in OKC - he wasn't getting any burn, and while he still has a ways to go, he has thrived in limited minutes this season and I expect him to continue to do so. He's not James Harden, but he won't be a punchline whenever Harden is brought up for much longer.

good recap of last night's OKC/Sacramento game

http://dailythunder.com/2013/12/thunder-hold-off-the-isaiah-kings-97-95/

But despite the near collapse, there were some really good things that happened. Particularly, Scott Brooks trusting both Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb to close the game, and even better, both embracing it. Lamb scored seven of his 14 in the fourth, which included a large 3 with 3:17 left to put OKC up six. After Marcus Thornton splashed one on the other end, Jackson came back with his own the next possession with 2:25 left. Back-to-back 3s for Reggie Lamb as the duo combined for 27 points on 10-18 shooting with six rebounds and five assists.

Brooks has leaned heavily on that three guard lineup with Durant and Ibaka to close games this season, but typically has picked between either Lamb or Jackson at one spot with Derek Fisher or Thabo Sefolosha alongside Westbrook at the other. He had Fisher in the game in the lineup, but instead of subbing on Thabo for him to close, Brooks went with Lamb with 5:39 left. I was kind of stunned.

Brooks will probably say it was just a matchup thing and that he trusts all his guys blah blah blah, but it’s clear he’s growing more and more confident in Lamb to handle situations and hit critical shots. Both Fisher and Thabo serve their purposes in some circumstances, but a Westbrook-Jackson-Lamb-Durant-Ibaka lineup could be the best the Thunder can offer.

You mean for right now or the future? Adams has looked better with OKC then he did at any point with Pitt last year, he's definitely their C of the future.

Like right now , Adams was a steal though . Remember he was like a projected top 3 pick at one point ? still they need somebody so they could make perkins disposable, not sure that is ryan Gomes. Perkins production/efficiency in 20 mpg is woeful .
