Kemba with a really solid game tonight. The Bobcats are still pretty bad though. Not sure how they've been playing .500 ball.

Their schedule has been pretty easy so far.

Kemba lived on the mid-range J today. Kept coming off screens and getting open 15-footers. His +/- was probably pretty good. Cats kept giving up huge runs with him on the bench.

He somehow needs to get his assists up. Some of it is the lack of weapons, some of it is that he doesn't find guys well when he breaks down the D, and some of it is that he gets hockey assists - he'll find McRoberts wide open at the top of the key and McRoberts will look to pass.

Also Henderson will regularly pass up open jumpers to drive and take some wild off balance shot.

Some nice plays by Drummond tonight:

12 points and 8 rebounds tonight, which brings his last 9 games to averages of 13.3 points, 13.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks; all while leading the NBA in field goal percentage by a significant margin. He's at least a top four rebounder in the league along with Dwight, Kevin Love, and DeAndre Jordan; I think I'd put him just behind Howard/Love.

He's one of the most exciting players in the league. I don't care if he only played here one year in a disappointing season, I'm glad this guy played for us at all. He gives UConn a lot of love on social media, and by all accounts he's a really good person as well. He's someone who I'm glad to associate with UConn. I never understand when some around here seem to view him negatively. I'm really rooting for him to continue developing into an All-Star player.

Lambo having a very solid night thru 3 quarters, 5/6 from the field, 12pts, and he's played solid D on Ginobili, Bellineli(sp), and Green whenever he's been matched up against them. Its one thing to play well in a blowout against the Jazz, its another to do it against a Spurs team that is rolling right now. I keep saying it, but while it would've been best for the Thunder to keep Harden, Jackson and Lamb are gonna be a potent 1/2 combo off the bench(Jackson already is) to help alleviate that scoring. In the future you will see alot of Jackson/Westbrook/Lamb/Durant/Ibaka lineups to close out games.

I happened to run into Jlamb last summer. He is a very nice kid. Not a jerk or punk in any way. He is genuinely the type of kid you like to see succeed. As a college kid, in his last season, I wanted to see more leadership out of him. That doesn't come naturally to him, but he may grow into that type of guy in the pros. But, more likely he will just be a talented and great guy to have on a team. The other thing I thought he needed to work on was his strength - he said he was doing that.

Interesting stat... Drummond has gone to the FT line in 9 separate games. When he hits at least 1 FT the Pistons are 4-1. When he pulls an 0-for, the Pistons are 0-4.

I'm officially not a fan of Scott brooks, I bet ollie could be a better coach for the thunder. He has no concept of match ups and having fluid rotations. Fisher should not be getting tick this is crazy. Like lamb a lot though, for sure making a leap. It takes nba players to come into their own at about 3+ years.hell be playing a long time.

I'm pretty sure he didn't give Durant a single minute of rest in the 2nd half, if he did it must have came in the 3rd because Durant played all of the 4th and was short on every single jumper he took to close out the quarter. In Lamb news, Brooks let him finish with the starters and he's still in going in to OT.

Great to see Lamb playing crunch time tonight. And to echo ace's thoughts, a Warriors-Thunder playoff series would be basketball heaven. The West in general is loaded, though. Between the Clippers, Spurs, Warriors, Thunder, Rockets, and T'Wolves, you're looking at six incredibly entertaining teams that could be in the playoffs.

Was it Lamb who made the save to Westbrook for the game winner? I can't tell from the highlights...

Drummond perhaps on his way to a monster game today. Has 12 points and 6 boards after one quarter. It depends, though - since he doesn't get touches through Detroit's standard offense, so he can go through long droughts without being involved.

14 and 11 at the half. Just a tip in during the second quarter. Pistons are up 20+, so it would have been a good time to give him a post up or two while he's feeling confident, but it looks like they don't even try.

Hack a Drummond in third quarter and he can't hit nearly enough (3-13). He has to figure this out. He's killing himself. He has 21 points and 17 rebounds in the third quarter and might not be able to play much more tonight. If he could just hit enough to stay in the game, he was on his way to maybe 25+25.

And he comes back in the 4th and makes three in a row (6-16 now), along with a wicked quick post move and a great catch of a bullet pass for an and one. Now has 28 points, 17 rebounds and five steals. Still over 8 minutes left. Could be a bit of a statement game.

“@KevinRDuffy: Andre Drummond has 30 points and 18 boards with 6 mins left vs. Philly...”

And 5 steals too. He is going to be a stud, top 5 5 within 2-3 years.

watching Pacers/Clips, how is Drummond scoring? Mix of activity around the rim and post ups?
