Copied from Zoo's post in the key tweets thread. This is one of the few rational outcomes of CR. MW is a pretty good conference. There's no poaching. And the PAC 2 programs get to keep their recent windfall.
With Washington playing Washington State and presumably Oregon playing Oregon State in future years, would these count as "Power Conference" matchups, or will these 2 matchups also be regulated to Power Conference vs. random G5 opponent as well?
Will any Power Conference school playing Washington State or Oregon State in the future be seen as the equivalent of playing Ball State, Temple, Wyoming, North Texas or New Mexico State?

Looks like the PAC 2 temporarily bought games...$14 million to the Mountain West to schedule six games with them.
I imagine an eventual merger will have to come.
Would seem preferable to separate the wheat from chaff if they can. (Eg Hawaii Wyoming New Mexico). Exit fees were too high this year but do they go down ?
I was waiting for someone to chime in with such nonsense.Wyoming is a pretty good program.
Unfortunately, it only makes sense if you are a UConn guy.How about a conference of
OSU
WSU
SDSU
Boise
San Jose
Fresno State
Air Force
Colorado State
Min of two from the following
UNLV
New Mexico
Utah State
UN Reno
Wyoming
BB only
Gonzaga
St Marys’s
Football only
UConn
That becomes a decent BB conference
Not even thenUnfortunately, it only makes sense if you are a UConn guy.
Why do you think I added UConn?Unfortunately, it only makes sense if you are a UConn guy.
I’m applying for Director of acquisitions. 11 years of experience on the Boneyard CR board , I should be a slam dunk hire.Want to work for the PAC-12 Conference?
