Are you ready?!
I woke up this morning and it belatedly dawned on me how excited I was for the giant Ommegang Three Philosophers in the fridge. I know it's New York, but it smells like Belgium.
Just no authentic Belgian beers...they are banned for the day.

Swiss guy playing his mind. How about these saves?!
I like Allagash and Ommegang, can't say I have tried the others. I'll put them on the list. I do like a Belgian ale though, give me a Chimay and I'm a pretty happy guy.Drink Allagash, Ommegang, Boulevard, North Coast, etc. American breweries making Belgian-style beer that's in most cases as good as the Belgian stuff.
Swiss blowing two great early chances. Longer you let Messi hang around, the 'unluckier' you'll get.
I suppose that is true, but only by virtue of being in the last match of the round. Can the USA get a quick goal and take some pressure off? I don't know if I'm going to survive. I have to pick up my son at daycare. My phone has been charging all day so I can glance at ESPN3 on my way. If a goal is scored in the second half, I may drive off the road. That was heavy drama. I don't think there was a Swiss player left standing when the final whistle blew. They all collapsed onto the ground. Had to be agony.
Well the USA is now in the Final Nine!
Jozy tore his hamstring about 13 days and 20 hours ago. I'll bet he can walk without a limp, but it still grabs at him in anything more than a jog. I assume he is hesitant to open it up his throttle.Jozy not starting. Will be surprised to see him today. Bummer.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.Doctors did clear him to play though.
I'm thinking this is klinnsman not wanting to be forced into an early sub.

JK going with a new 4-3-3 formation. Before up op on the wing no Beckerman.
Interesting.
So GC in the midfield?!
Cameron and Gonzalez starting. I remember Cameron pushing the ball up well in qualifying, so maybe that's what Klinsmann is going for today. To be honest, I think Cameron for Beckerman brings more offense and more than adequate defending.
We'll see how it goes!
Johnson has been so dangerous on the wing this cup, but I like him playing on the back right with Cameron in front of him. He's fit good speed and height... And more importantly, I don't trust Cameron in the back.
Johnson is playing forward??
