Connecticut was ranked the worst state in America for road trips, according to a new report by the personal finance social network WalletHub.

Unless you are a D1 Mens Basketball Team.

Connecticut Ranked Worst State for Road Trips

LOL Road Trips.

What a devastating blow. I would gladly sacrifice my daughter getting a top 4 public school education in the country (and having healthy teeth) if only we could get more people taking road trips here.

Jeez, where were my priorities?!

Fricking brilliant.

there were still appeals pending when he finally rolled over. Yes or no?

You mean the Supreme Court? That was the only court left. You think they were going to take deflated footballs to the Supreme Court?

He fought it tooth and nail for 2 1/2 years while people like you were screaming that it should be over and done with!

Stop being a hypocrite.

And the Pats didn't punt all game... This one is more on the offensive line than people are talking about. Pats fans regardless of the score if you are told you have TB12 with the ball 2:20 on the clock 1to and the 2-minute warning, you'd want that situation all day every day. It's silly. The defense was absolutely bad but offensive line deserves some blame.

The same offensive line that results in Brady having all day to throw to wide-open receivers (and also somehow never gets called for holding)? They had one bad play.

Funny. I would have expected the standing/kneeling roles to be reversed.

You mean the two men next to one another? I have no experience with that sort of thing. Nor expectations like you. Tell us more.

Yeah, there were a ton of holding calls in the playoffs!!! A ton of them! None of them called on the Pats!

Did you see all the holding calls on the Jaguars and Eagles? A gazillion of them. Amazing.

It's also incredible how the Patriots find these all-pro lineman off the streets or in the late rounds of the draft. I mean, Andrews? Waddle? Fleming? These guys are absolute studs. And they do their job and they never get help from an immobile QB who stands in the pocket all day, unable to avoid pressure, and he holds onto the ball forever, and has the slowest release in NFL history!!!! It is really crazy how the Patriots keep finding these linemen off the streets, they get paid peanuts, and instantly they become fantastic! I mean, Andruzzi from Southern Connecticut? Please. Or what about that Neal guy? He never played high school football. Never played college. And then he's starting for the Patriots? Really? Get rid of Mankins? Replace him with a UDFA?

Hard to call Connecticut a failed state when property values ain't dropping much. The "Gold Coast" has expanded as of now to include Black Rock of Bridgeport. Bridgeport is being gentrified and the poorer population in the town is not too pleased about that.

South Carolina is in the process of being more thoroughly "developed".

You're by far the dumbest bastard on his board hands down. You live in a failed state that is about to go bankrupt. There is no one dumber than you and you are by far the biggest loser on this board. I'm sure you're enjoying your stupidity.

You fit in just fine down there. Bunch of dummies walking around with bad breath and rotten teeth.

I think it is fair to say that those two are the greatest winners of all time. But it's a team sport. Montana had the greatest WR of all time and a HOF running back. Brady has never had anything close to either of them. Gronk being really his only top tier HOF level receiver, and he's be constantly injured.

As pure throwers, Marino was better than either, maybe Fouts as well. Rodgers can do everything well. Peyton was phenomenal at both throwing and managing a game (where Brady and Montana shine is that game management, and vision to pick apart a defense).

I don't get involved in the GOAT discussion bc there's too many variables. The outcome of a football game doesn't determine how good of a player you are. Terry Bradshaw won 4 Super Bowls. Dan Marino won none. I don't know anybody who would rather have Bradshaw over Marino in a vacuum. If you ask me who's the best QB I've ever seen, it's Marino, then Rodgers, then Manning. They've got 4 Super Bowl titles between them and I'd still take all 3 over Bradshaw and his 4 titles. And you also have to take into account the new NFL.. where every possible rule is geared toward helping the passing game succeed. It used to be that if you couldn't run the ball, you couldn't win. Before they started to emphasize the illegal contact rule, Brady was just another good player. In 2 of their first 3 Super Bowl wins, Brady didn't even break 250 yards passing.

All due respect, but Brady not being in your top 3 is all I need to discount your opinion. Brady and Manning are contemporaries and virtually every available metric points to Brady, especially when you consider the "new NFL" and the illegal contact rules you mentioned were implemented specifically to help Manning.

Your showing your ignorance again Jimmy. But I know you could care less. And I think it's a riot that you are totally fine with living in a bankrupt state. How that makes you feel superior is is the question for the ages. Damn, you're stupid. They don't make them any dumber than you. You haven't provided any kind of logical arguement. Total moron = Jimmy.

This is true. Property values are holding especially in Fairfield County. Problem is that property taxes are through the roof.

State and local governments are in dire need of revenue to make up shortfalls. That means taxes will continue to rise. Malloy seems desperate at this point to bring in more revenue. The bipartisan state budget that was passed last fall was a good first step. That will help. But there is a problem with business and residents are bolting the state. There really is no incentive at this point for them to stay. That needs to be adressed and fixed. If United Technologies relocates out of state (and that's not out of the realm of possibility) a lot of jobs will be lost. CT needs to be a business friendly sate again. Even the state of NY has a program for businesses that relocate there won't pay any taxes for ten years. That's a great program that CT needs to emulate.

I don't what can be done to bring back cities like Bridgeport and Waterbury. I hope they are not too far gone at this point.

And it's true, the development taking place in South Carolina is unbelievable. I live in Greenville and it is booming. I just hope it doesn't become as big as Charlotte.

CT can become a great state again but drastic changes are needed.

The tolls that are being considered is not a bad idea because it will collect a lot of money from people out of state as they cross into CT. But if Malloy is successful in getting the congestion toll enacted people will not tolerate that. Last summer he was talking about mandating that devices be put in everyone's car to they can be taxed by the mile. That is beyond dumb too.

Evidence is right here in your post. You can’t even use “your” and “you’re” correctly. Evidence of the 50th best educated state in the country. Hillbilly Husky says fake news.

Give him a break Jimmy, he is still ahead of the rest of that godforsaken place, he has internet. Have to give him points for that. Most people in his state don't. They don't even know how to work it if they have access, (South Carolina 45th in people having internet) and the rest can't afford it. (43rd in income)
