OT: 2017-2018 NBA Season Thread

Jalen Brown was awesome last night. My favorite part of that game, for sure.

Curry was coming off injury, 7 game series, etc etc. All the necessary caveats.

And yet, damn that felt good to see that comeback, and to see Brown play such a huge role. A lineup next year of Irving-Brown-Haywood-Tatum-Horford, and with another high lottery pick in the next few years?

Also, that Fulke-Tatum trade is looking better and better. No way the Nets finish below the Kings/Mavs/Hawks/Bulls, and I think Tatum > Fulke (though more time is perhaps needed there...)

Most young star talent I've seen in my lifetime. Greek Freak, Embiid, Porzingis and Simmons are all unicorns and generational type talents. Stevens is the best coach in the league.
 
It was amazing to see how physical the refs allowed the Celtics to be with the Warriors. Smart and Brown were mugging the offense throughout the game. The game was officiated more like a playoff game than a regular season one.

The two things that stood out to me were how much better Brown has become with the ball and how impressive Klay was in defending Kyrie.

What about Tatum's "block" where he never touched the ball and totally took out the guy's (Curry?) arm? I was laughing how bad a call that was.
 
Andre needs to start scoring. He should be able to throw Sabonis around on the block, yet Sabonis is consistently beating him. Played really bad defense down the stretch of this game.

Hornets are a mess even with MKG and Batum back, if they waste this night from Kemba...
 
Even with the body contact those are the kind of finishes that Kemba usually makes at the rim, brutal loss
 
Kemba with 47 but he misses the game winning layup against the Bulls. Bummer.
 
They need to trade for a secondary scorer or something, no other go to shot maker on that team.

He just turned 21. Tatum-Brown-Irving are going to be so good together. If they pick well with the LAL/SAC pick coming up...wow.
 
Andre just ate KAT up in a come-from-behind 100-97 Pistons win on the road. Andre finished with 20/16/4 as well as a steal and 2 blocks on 8/15 FG, 4/5 FT. KAT went for 16/9/3, no steals or blocks on 6/13 FG, 2/2 FT.

In the 4th quarter Andre had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and held KAT to 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist as the Pistons rallied from 84-73 down for the win.

Huge, huge performance from our guy.

He's gone from Stud to Overrated back to Stud. The Pistons wouldn't have gotten anything good for him this off-season; his star had fallen. Now look what he's doing.
 
That's a big win for the Pistons, this was destined to be the road trip from hell for them.
 
He needs to do this. He needs to start getting consistent 18-20 point games to further his game. He’s already the best rebounder in the league and a much improved defender, offense
is his next step towards absolute stardom.
