D Brandon Fortunato is transferring from BU. Would be a real nice pick up for UConn for next season.

BU has crazy amounts of talent on the blue line this season. Fortunato, who had 22 points last season, would have been hard pressed to find consistent ice time.

Mac he will have to sit out a year if he doesn't get a waiver BUT this would be a really nice acquisition! From what I can gather on the BU thread on USCHO forum Fortunato is looking for top 2 pairing ice time along with pp and pk time as well. As a undrafted FA...he needs to show what he has to scouts.

Fortunato would've been a solid pickup for UConn, I wonder if they tried to grab him. He has a lot of skill but is very undersized and is in need of significant work on his shot. He would've had trouble regularly cracking our top six this season.

Its going to be interesting if they can somehow find some high end talent to bring in to replace Thompson and Letunov.

From what I have read he is a hard working, give it his all, grinder type. Plenty of those on the roster already.

“I see myself as a two-way forward. I like to be gritty, but I feel like I have a skill side, too,” Robbins said. “The expectations I have for myself, I always like to set my standards high. I would love to be the leading scorer. As long as I think that way, I’m always motivated that I can do it.”

“I believe it was my work ethic,” Robbins said. “I always try and put out 110 percent on every shift.
