Buffalo Sabres prospect Philip Nyberg has played his last game in USHL. He will join UConn for the second semester. Big add for the Huskies.

This may cause some growing pains on both sides. It definitely improves the depth of the overall D corps though.

Russ Bitely is pretty squared away and honest with his evals on recruits. I'm gonna take this to mean the kid will be a 2nd to 3rd line player who has offensive skill.

BCHL is a very good league...it's the Canadian version of the USPHL. Interesting thing about the BCHL, OHL, WHL and QMJHL..all the kids that play in these leagues are eligible to play college hockey in Canada..only the kids that play in the BCHL are eligible to play for schools in the NCAA.

Considering UConn has only 3 seniors on the roster (one being a goalie), they seem to have a large class coming in next season.

Although, I think Thompson will be leaving and Letunov is a toss up but I think he might be going, also.

I think it's a toss up on Tage...Max will be back...I can even see him staying for his senior year and becoming a F/A like Kevin Hayes did. The Sharks made it known they wanted to see him get stronger and put on weight after development camp this summer. That definitely didn't happen this year. Plus the kid has been traded 2x and is in his 3rd organization since he was drafted.
