These days it is standard practice in the world of college hockey recruiting. Reform is needed.
Define competitive hockey east level. Can anyone who follows this stuff closely summarize where we are? How is Cav doing? I'm not expecting a BU/BC class, but are we at a competitive HE level?

@mac2351 just the kind of kid Cav has been using to build his program with.Keep an eye on defenseman Philip Nyberg playing with the Madison Capitols of the USHL.
He is a 5th round pick of the Buffalo Sabres and has been committed to Wisconsin.
Planned on being at Wisconsin this fall but an admission issue delayed his enrollment.
UConn is showing interest.
UConn committed 2 Russian '01s today from Colorado Evolution U15 program: Big C Arseni Smekhnov and undersized offensive D Malik Alishlalov. @jeffcoxsports
Will be interesting to see if he shows up for the second semester.
@mac2351 he may..that was his plan all along at Wisconsin. Big kid size wise

UConn hockey is working hard to get recent commit Philip Nyberg in for the second semester. It’s a very real possibility
Nyberg is still playing for the Madison Capitols against the NTDP this weekend.
