I’m old enough to remember when Syracuse was a peer. Holy crap did the ACC destroy that program.

Has the ACC destroyed them or did they destroy themselves for leaving the Big East? If you ask me, it's karma for them and BC blocking UConn from joining the ACC. I have little to no sympathy for either of those two programs.
 
Dook and UK on now. Two programs that I always root against. I'm conflicted...well not really. I can never root for Dook.

Mich St pretty much what they have been for last ten years. A grinder of a team that cannot shoot the basketball. Its pretty clear at this point their program will not evolve with Izzo there.

Kansas kind of what I thought - Frankenteam with a bunch of parts but without any cohesion. Storr is coming off the bench and a mess, 5 fouls in 12 minutes as a guard. Dumb fouls a defiance measure to coming off the bench? It’s hard for a guard who typically doesn’t play defense to foul out in 12 minutes. Just weird. I smell dysfunction coming with this team.
 
There are not a lot of upsets early this season. Those team that stub their toe are going to stick out on Selection Sunday.

Duke is long - they throw a ton of big bodies at you defensively and smother the 3 point line. UK so reliant on the 3 is starting to force stuff.

Yeah they do - lots of answers, big and these freshman are legit. I’ve seen a lot of brackets pairing us in the same region. Would prefer to meet them in the final :).

Amari Williams sure looks the part of a great 5. It’s just when he starts playing you realize why he isn’t so great. Goodness with some of these wild passes, missed bunnies and odd 15 foot push shots. Seems the hand eye isn’t totally dialed.
 
Flagg needs to add 15 lbs of muscle to play in the NBA…Dook struggling with ball handling to start the 2nd half

Tack on working on that 3 point shot - it’s a really weird looking release.

Kneuppel has such good court awareness - head is always up, always anticipating. Every shot he takes feels quality.
