"The person that won", ouch. I guess that explains Walz's reference that "everyone now knows her name is Asia Durr".

Yea that ranks righ up there with Kmac was the POY over Stewie and not applauding when Stewie was announced as the winner. Good for Jeff for confronting her."That person", ouch. I guess that explains Walz's reference that "everyone now knows her name is Asia Durr".
I don't care what other games were on the broadcast schedule. ESPN absolutely MUST cut away to Muffet's press conference.

She said the person who won. That doesn't seem disrespectful at all to me. Walz needed something to get his players mad, or whatever. Good for him.
Walz is a purposeful salty jerk and Muffet is a classic passive-aggressive. Let the fireworks begin.
I hate to bring this up, but If this was a guy's game ESPN would be all over that exchange by the coaches. For the women's game they forget it and move on - LOL
that / the. Same effect.
It was very disrespectful. Jeff didn't need anything to motivate his team beyond the last meeting /curb stomping. She said the person who won. That doesn't seem disrespectful at all to me. Walz needed something to get his players mad, or whatever. Good for him.

Yeah that's kind of rough--she definitely could have phrased that better. Can't blame Walz for standing up for his player...it makes sense too since McGraw was caught off guard by the comment and said, "what" to Jeff. Guessing Muffet didn't think anything of the comment when she made it. I think she's a great coach but she can have a bit of a sore loser streak to her.

"Best player in the country" takes over
"Asia Durr is the best player in the country,” McGraw added!
How did she discredit Durr? Background please.
Mowins noted it when it was off camera, and they just offered more explanation in the post game.
I like Antonelli.I refuse to listen to Antonelli. Mute and go with it.
I like seeing L’ville argue calls. Shows they are into it. They look uninterested in this tourney prior to this game. Antonelli said they play too casual.Great game. Players arguing way to much about the calls. We know officiating is spotty but it doesn't do them any good to react that way.
