The "who is going to win" polls should include 3 choices, each team and the refs. They certainly were using their whistles a lot in the 1st quarter.
I agree that the Bulldogs do foul a lot. The SEC as a whole plays very grabby defense. I think Ga mugged Sophie Cunningham all night, but Mizzou vs Ga was 7 vs 22 FTA. Ugly, but not many fouls called on Ga. Not so with SC. 31 vs 8 is quite lopsided. Seems that there is consistent inconsistency at work. Not saying there is a purpose to it, but it makes for bad games.Or maybe Georgia just fouls a lot. That's possible too. In fact, having seen their win over Missouri, I would say more than possible.
If ND wins they are definitely the 3rd #1 seed.If ND Wins does that make them the third #1 Seed or will Louisville keep it? Not sure I want to be the Third #1 Seed as they'll probably get Baylor in their region. I'm presuming the fourth #1 seed gets sent to Spokane and they'll get Oregon at their #2 seed in the Region. The announcers mentioned the possibility of Stanford getting a #2 seed. Would the PAC 12 get two #2 seeds?
Is Louisville guaranteed to be in Lexington regardless if they're the #3 or #4 #1 Seed?
ESPN certainly thinks that they have a chance for a #2 seed...If ND wins they are definitely the 3rd #1 seed.
There's no way Stanford will be a #2 seed. Sometimes they come up with just moronic ideas like this. Yes they'd have 2 wins over Oregon, but their overall resume isn't even close.
They're just trying to build up buzz for the game. It's not happening.ESPN certainly thinks that they have a chance for a #2 seed...
I do my best to not believe most things ESPN.They're just trying to build up buzz for the game. It's not happening.
Creme just said that a win over Oregon would elevate Stanford to a *3* seed, otherwise they stay a 4. (I don't always agree with Creme, but this time I do.)ESPN certainly thinks that they have a chance for a #2 seed...
It was a miracle!!!!Shepard for ND is keeping things going. They are so lucky (NPI) to have her available this year.
I wonder if they would have had the continued ACC dominance without her. I seriously doubt it.Shepard for ND is keeping things going. They are so lucky (NPI) to have her available this year.
The SEC as a whole plays very grabby defense.

Carter is a Redshirt Junior. She's worrrrrking right now. 4-6 from three. She has significantly improved her three point shot this year. Pretty incredible the strides she has made as a role player.Ya think there'll be some scoring in this game? 17-12 Louisville after just 7 minutes. And Durr has 0 points so far.
Freshman Arica Carter has hit two 3-pointers for Louisville already. Muffet isn't happy.
Mabrey, the biggest whiner in WCBB.Ogunbawale back to her old tricks, throws a player down. And now Mabrey's mad about a foul. They would be right at home in the SEC! The MMA of WBB.
I believe that someone made a similar comment earlier in the thread. They also still play like they didn't get the rule change memo about how you don't get a free elbow to commence a move on offense. Rarely called in league.
Louisville is playing way more physically than Notre Dame. This was, again, Walz's design. Bring a physical game that Notre Dame is forced to match, since ND is far more vulnerable to foul trouble than Louisville is.Ogunbawale back to her old tricks, throws a player down. And now Mabrey's mad about a foul. They would be right at home in the SEC! The MMA of WBB.
