I've said this before but the notion that "the way things are is the way things will always be" is the safe harbor of little minds.

Totally agree...either you are P5 or you are not...that said, I am very hopeful UConn's shelf life on the G5 level will get a lot shorter once its market value gets identified via the BHV results.

It is amazing how many people do not understand the history of the ACC yet view its decisions as impartial and well grounded. That is the worst thing the ACC ever did to UConn. Overcoming the bias that the teams that remain G5 are G5 for a reason is a major hurdle. The good news is when it comes to UConn I do not think it is true.

Hopefully the Big12 expansion data will show the value of UConn regardless of whether the Big12 expands. An impartial number based assessment of UConn can only help our cause.

I agree with you on those bad decisions...imagine if the ACC had taken UConn and Rutgers. RU still may have left for the B1G BUT that would have left Pitt.Louisville for the B-12. They would be at 12 right now and each conference would own some really good rivalries gained through expansion.
