I’ve never seen the kid play and I have no clue who the hell you are but I will confidently predict that he’s not very good and that you might be a jerk.
That may be the kindest you've ever been.

I haven't seen him play but apparently 429 has seen every east coast player play. That's why I was waiting for his critique. Apparently he watches videos 37 hours per day, while teaching and coaching AAU ball and whatever household chores he has. But apparently he's an expert... like you! But go on...

You didn't wait long for his critique. In fact, you critiqued his critique before he even made one.

High school kid makes a mistake, asks guy on Twitter to take down his Tweets, guy on Twitter snitches on him. Cool, Twitter guy.

But if that’s true, wouldn’t most kids prefer the free ride? I don’t see why the kid would agree to not post about it.
You answered your own question.

"Most" kids would prefer the free ride. Some kids don't "need" the financial support and want to be involved in blue blood programs with NBA level talent, and/or its their dream school.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw this guy pass out at the UConn Dairy Bar last night.

There’s 15 minutes I’ll never get back.

I watched the highlight video! It did dawn on me at some point that the reason his teammates were going bonkers whenever he scored was because he was probably a bench player.

In other words he won't be just a bench warmer but an experienced bench warmer. Never underestimate the value of experience.
