That's not being argumentative. That's a solid useful & substantive point. Not to be argumentative, but 2:00 AM and later ( earlier?) are White Castle witching hours.
HaHaHaHathere shall be no besmirching the good name of st ronald of mcdonald on my watch, mister/ms/miss/madam/mac. blasphemy.
micky d rules.
and, on another note, 'cheese it, it's the cops...' is gospel.
signed 'unincarcerated.' lol.
Lol, If my memory serves me correctly, quite a few “good things” happened after 2 AM in my college years.Spoken like a true amateur. Everyone knows that most goods things happen after 2:00 AM and even if it doesn’t you still must shoot your last best shot. There is no go to place at 2:00 AM only diminishing standards such as open and within reasonable walking distance. A go to spot should be reserved for when you are in your right mind.
You mean your imagination correct? LolLol, If my memory serves me correctly, quite a few “good things” happened after 2 AM in my college years.
To your simple question, the answer is no. But aficionados love them. So far as I know, best described as a greasy mini-burger covered in raw onion bits. Not on the west coast. Is White Castle actually good? Apparently I was wrong. White Castle has location in Vegas and Arizona. Who knew?
Well, New Brunswick is known for its grease trucks. To your simple question, the answer is no. But aficionados love them. So far as I know, best described as a greasy mini-burger covered in raw onion bits.
Says someone who's go-to late night was "Greasy Tony's" which charged extra for, well, extra grease of course. Oddly enough, he relocated to Tucson, was opening (not sure if it did) a restaurant and then he died and the company with him. Known for cheesesteaks. And folks with the munchies. A block from my frat in New Brunswick.
I eat neither. I have tried both, though not in combination.Grits yummy! Scrimp and grits
It’s a southern staple. Add a little cheese to the grits. It’s too die for!!I eat neither. I have tried both, though not in combination.
I love Waffle House…I've seen many things at Waffle House, but strangely never a fight.
I always kind of hated being dragged there as eating breakfast at 3 AM drunk never did appeal that much to me. And I'm a pancake guy historically.
grits are pretty weak too. P
Then you need to order the All-American next time you go.I know I'm in South Carolina when people are talking about Waffle House. I've had a Waffle House for the first time since forever, and my issue with them is the meal is like half a breakfast meal. The sausages and eggs are just too small for me. (or below normal caloric total I'm used to)

I'm guessing that you can't "SUPERSIZE" that thang!I know I'm in South Carolina when people are talking about Waffle House. Smothered, covered, and chunked!Actually it's the All-Star. You gotta get it with the shredded hash browns... just make sure you have some ketchup and ranch dressing to cover them with.

OPH is great! My first time at one was like 10 years ago in Charlotte. Now it seems like every time I see one it’s closed.I'm an IHOP or OPH guy, I've never cared for Waffle House.
The one at Trenholm Plaza in Columbia was still open the last time I was in that neighborhood.OPH is great! My first time at one was like 10 years ago in Charlotte. Now it seems like every time I see one it’s closed.
WH was the go to spot for late night/early morning food back in the late 80’s/ early 90’s. My first IHOP visit was in Columbia near the campus of U of SC. I would take a Mom and Pop over a franchise 100% and twice on Sundays! I agree with SCGamecock, I can make better grits with cheese. In my college days in the back woods of New York State at 2:00AM there was a greasy spoon by the name of Ethels. Great breakfast for a good price. Ethel did the cooking right in front of us, very cordial. By the way, Ethel was a guy.
Occasionally, I get to go to a Greek Luncheonette (out of state) when I travel to visit family. In my college days in the back woods of New York State at 2:00AM there was a greasy spoon by the name of Ethels. Perhaps your best take ever. It is all about the quality of the bacon. You can read a newspaper through Waffle House bacon. IHOP is great.I'm an IHOP or OPH guy, I've never cared for Waffle House.
Still (at least) two OPH locations in Charlotte!OPH is great! My first time at one was like 10 years ago in Charlotte. Now it seems like every time I see one it’s closed.
For me it was foot long hotdogs, Dixie Beer, and strawberry milk shake form DQ!When I transferred from the New York school to my school in Connecticut a night out would be alot of smoking, alot of Boones Farm Apple Wine, and to end the evening, a trip to Dairy Queen for a cone with blueberry ice cream topped with chocolate sprinkles. AAHH, to die for.
