Only room for optimism: TN folks might be feeling so good about Mens' team that it crowds out the LVs misery.
Also goal #1 in Knoxville is to get the FB team back on track. In rebuilding with new coach. But not making a bowl and getting stomped by Vandy are not good.

But if FB and MBB are in good shape, AD Fulmer will have ample time to study WCBB.

Somehow, I'm actually afraid they are going to come out super fired-up and actually challenge ND. At least for a while.

At the very least, this is one game where they will not be expected to win, so they may feel less pressure in that way.

The last couple ND-Tenn games have been odd. 2 years ago, ND blew a 10-point 4th quarter lead at Tennesse. Last year, Tenn. blew a 10-point 4th quarter lead at ND.
 
Did anyone ever think Tennessee would start SEC play 1-5?

Pretty inexcusable with the athletes they have. If I was a Tennessee fan I would be livid.

The thing is they have the players to hang with pretty much anyone.

They could but they may also just be so beaten down, the will isn't there.

Also: this is just not a very good team.

Not sure what’s the injury or severity, but she looked fine at the game. Walking without a boot or anything really. Looked normal. Seems more like a decision was made to not aggravate a previous injury and instead rest and rehab at SC?

I'm sure Holly and the Lady Vols were surprised that Arkansas didn't call a time out after Westbrook's Free throws gave the Lady Vols the lead with 10 seconds left. At the time the Lady Vols had only committed three team fouls. They should have fouled the Arkansas player once she crossed half court. Arkansas should never have gotten a shot off, before the Lady Vols committed a non-shooting foul. If they had, most likely Arkansas doesn't win the game.

Yeah, like none of Seminole fans would be gleeful if Florida, Miami or Clemson went on a 5 game losing streak...As you are a newbie here, you might want to do some research on how the VolNation fans have created this war. And you can always just refrain from comments on issues you are unfamiliar with....:rolleyes:

Nellie played for Dawn’s college roommate at Clemson and Audra is no longer there. I have no insider knowledge, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that didn’t have something to do with it. Maybe so she can get an SEC Tournament ring.

I have begun to feel sad for the Tennessee players. I think they deserve better coaching. They seem lost. I don't see how these young women could have anticipated this train wreck when they decided to play at Tennessee.

Holly realized her mistake as Arky inbounded the ball and started yelling at her team to foul... but all that did was cause confusion and they wound up giving a wide open shirt jumper that cost them the game.
