It's very easy to understand, people. Players are willing to sacrifice playing in a top flight conference to come to UConn IF they think they will be a guaranteed starter or featured in big minutes. If they commit and don't see that materializing, they'll leave. If a player is going to come off the bench, they'd probably rather it be for a power 5 school, and I don't blame them. I do think the AAU mindset/not wanting to work for the playing time contributes to it for a lot of these kids, but sometimes it is that simple. The AAC conference chickens are coming home to roost.
