In the post game presser Hurley calls him Thor.
I knew he was good - I didn’t know he was this good. It really does add a new layer of possibilities with this team. He’s a really versatile chess piece, as a kid with a really good handle at his size. It gives you a chance to move the rest of your lineup around to create mismatches. Many of us here knew that January was going to be ugly without Liam. February is spring come early. Here’s hoping to a great finish to the year with a healthy Liam. Special player.
Still nice to see. A lot of our TOs are unforced errorsCreighton doesn't turn teams over.
$20? Sure! How much nil would it take to keep a top 10 pick in school? I mean we could raise 20 right?
That’s more a function of Creightons D. They don’t pressure the ball at allCan we talk about how they cleaned up their turnover situation? Only 6 tonight!
And he were go on a night where “our guy” goes off we compare him to the guy that trolled our school. Amazing mentioning that name on this board should be something that is moderated out. That was a Flagg-esque performance. Amazing.
This is true, but Liam's 38 at a ranked Creighton is much more impressive than Flagg's 42 at home against a bad Notre Dame. This is 100% a biased view and I stand behind it.He fell just a few points short from setting the mark for the most points by a Freshman this year. I believe Flagg had a 42-point game.
Hard to argue that. Many of Flaggs points were at the line as well. That last night was the most impressive freshman game of the season. It’s going to get lots of buzz - people like frosh sensations. This is true, but Liam's 38 at a ranked Creighton is much more impressive than Flagg's 42 at home against a bad Notre Dame. You can be as biased as you want. I've got your back in this one. This is true, but Liam's 38 at a ranked Creighton is much more impressive than Flagg's 42 at home against a bad Notre Dame. This is 100% a biased view and I stand behind it.

I just hope Liam’s play inspires others to bring their “A” game… that will be the biggest factor in our teams success .He's so much better than anyone on the floor it’s a scary.
I watched him and Flagg on that crazy great team they were on last season and Liam was definitely a point forward bringing the ball up and creating for teammates. That was a Flagg-esque performance. Amazing.
My favorite part of that pic is the silent crowd.
1) True. But there is a benefit in being a 6-7 guard. You have better vision and length to protect the ball. Tristan and Cam were both tall guards and the teams you mention also play tall, I believe. Also think both sides of the ball. He can pressure them when they go small. Lot's of pros and cons. It's easy when they don't play pressure defense unlike Marquette and St. John's.
Such a satisfying win on so many levels. My favorite part of that pic is the silent crowd.
That’s a Dan Hurley face!
It’s so important to have guys like that on your team. The fearlessness is contagious, especially for the kids that don’t have it naturally. This team needs it more than most.It should
And it should.
That was an epic performance - one for the ages.
I was thinking last night — only 1 team wins the National Championship.
You’ve got to enjoy the special moments in every season.
Last night was one to be enjoyed.
My favorite part was he was encouraging Creighton fans to get up / get excited at what was happening.
