1000's? I only know one of his stories. And reminds of that punchline: You only have to blank one blank to be a blank blanker. (Didn't make it through the profanity filter)
Jake is definitely plugged in. He gets clowned constantly because he’s doing things his own way and pushing against the grain that is 247 and rivals.

He's botched SEVERAL. pay attention. I can make predictions too and be correct 40% of the time
If anyone needs to pay attention apparently its you. Dude is one of the most plugged in guys on the scene. You're just blatantly wrong if you say otherwise.

After a month of no games and no recruits added as of yet. Think this sums up how the board is feeling...

Please name one story other than Cardwell that he botched...and it wasn't just him that botched that one. A few high level guys did.

hope this is reliable
So here's a good test of the Jake Weingarten reliability barometer! I believe he's the first out there with this news...so let's see if it happens! ;)

Guess we are going to have to start following Virginia techs scholarship situation now
"At the moment Branden Johnson, Wabissa Bede, P.J. Horne, Kevin Aluma (transfer sit out), Jonathan Kabongo (expected to red shirt this year), Isiah Wilkins, Landers Nolley, Jalen Cone, Hunter Cattoor, Nahiem Alleyne, John Ojiako, and Tyrece Radford make up the 12 spots for Mike Young. That leaves room for two new players next season with Branden Johnson graduating. All of the remaining names should still be in Blacksburg next year baring an unforeseen event or Nolley having such a year that he declares for the NBA early."

to summarize- VTech had 12 scholarship players and are losing Johnson and Nolley so they only need to fill 3 scholarships.

They already signed 2 recruits for 2020: joe bamisilie and darius maddox.

EDIT- Stretch PF David NGuesson has given his verbal commitment.

EDIT- in order to get the grimes-waiver nolley should wait to commit until NGuesson signs AND the ncaa votes on the transfer rule. He needs to maintain the illusion that if the rule fails or doesnt go into effect until 2021, he would want to go back to VTech but for the fact they already filled his scholarship. otherwise the NCAA might deny the waiver on the basis of nolley deciding to transfer regardless of the rule's outcome.

247 has stretch PF David NGuesson as a 100% crystal ball for them so if/when he signs then nolley should be free to commit and get the grimes-waiver

Interesting thanks

N'Guessan already gave them a verbal.

Didn't need to.

I first heard it even more briefly:
"But blank one blank..."

This is a completely different situation it’s not going to work like that every time. He also was transferring home

Curious more so than challenging:

Any chance that the Cardwell thing was Jake being fed AND played, which would align with his subsequent reputation from both directions?

I haven't followed him afterward (I follow nobody), and only think of him as the 'lead disinformer' on that unique episode, with much tighter lips surrounding Javonte Brown Ferguson's recruiting shortly thereafter.

Does anyone know how these meetings are going? Do they show them around the campus or is it a formal sit-down?

One can only guess because I doubt they've done many like this before. But I would think it's a formal discussion with the kid and parents as well as allowing time for a presentation of the campus as well as the basketball center plus a rah rah power video to boot. Only a guess.

I would hope they aren't walking around campus with a cell phone streaming...lol. I assume they had the marketing dept create a slick video showing off the facilities and campus, and then having a video call
