well he might be, you never know. The first sleeper athlete that comes to mind is Scott Burrel
Quite frankly, Scott wasn't exactly a sleeper in any of his 3 main sports.

4 freshman.Nice to add balance to the classes. We now have what, 3 sophomores, 2 juniors, 1 senior and 6 freshman?
Have to love the frame and athleticism. All he needs to do is catch and dunk. The former may be in dispute based on some of that tape but we shall see.

Dude's 15 minutes might be up after he lost his dunk show and then went after Shaq and Kenny Smith.Love the enthusiasm, but Jordan Kilganon might have a little something to say about that.
At 6'1 dudes highlights are insane...
i don't like this argument cause it requires me bashing vital. love the kid. but he was a solid 6th man on a 16-17 team. he will continue to get better and will be/is a hell of a guard for us. but alterique has star power. he showed it in the minimal time he played last year. was a mcdonalds AA for a reason. but you are right, proof is in the pudding and CV got more pudding right now. potential is just potential. i just really feel like our only shot at being march-relevant next year is if jalen, alterique, and larrier are bonifide, first team conference-esque studs. plus 2 point guards seems to work for us..
True, I wouldn't worry about it though. So many what ifs. If we get back to how we used to recruit, scholarships won't be an issue.Assuming they want to (can't see why they wouldn't) AG and MD will qualify as redshirts.
Even @Chief00 has to admit he'll enjoy first night with this kid throwing down.
2 Seniors(DO and AA).Nice to add balance to the classes. We now have what, 3 sophomores, 2 juniors, 1 senior and 6 freshman?

Oregon wouldn't still take him.How do you know this? Oregon doesn't tend to offer basketball scholarships to guys who aren't basketball players.
What's your point?Oregon wouldn't still take him.
That he's very likely not going to be very good until at least his senior year. What's your point?
Your logic is strange as hell in this thread. That he's very likely not going to be very good until at least his senior year.

That's the spirit pt. 2That he's very likely not going to be very good until at least his senior year.

Not exactly text book help defense from the post.
Who made you the basketball guru? You are really out of order for that comment! That he's very likely not going to be very good until at least his senior year.
Everyone on the team needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap until the first practice lol. Avoid disaster at all costsIt would be great If he played in the GHPA summer league
Vital will be one of our 4 most productive players.
