Some of the talking heads said the Presidents of the B1G were for adding Stanford and Cal, but FOX wouldn’t pay for it. FOX would only pay for Washington and Oregon. No idea if it’s true or not. But, if we go back to 2022, after USC and UCLA announced they were joining the B1G, former B1G Commissioner Kevin Warren said the B1G wasn’t done expanding and he could see going to 20 schools. This was the same week Dennis Dodds named Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and Cal as B1G targets. The B1G Presidents and FOX did not like him publicly stating that and it contributed to a strained relationship that ultimately led him to leave the B1G.

Not sure I'm following this latest argument. But for some podcaster braking news of ongoing discussions UConn would be in the Big 12+4?
Didn't realize Zanetto's crappy little podcast had such impact and that the deal would have been completed and in the bank before anyone else got wind of it and tried to object.

I don't think he's actually a UConn guy. I think that he just picked the best available team to launch his locked on show.

Zanetto is the worst UConn podcaster. He mostly spouts opinions. Why he is part of the Locked On franchise is a mystery. He is a net negative for the UConn sports community.

Interesting that Cully said that Mike Burton had leaked to him but told Cully to sit on it. Multiple leaks or did Burton leak to multiple podcasters?

He also took a crap all over Jared. "A prominent guy at UConn think he's a d.o.u.che." :eek:

(Cully is tough to listen to. He sounds like he's board listening to himself.)
