Yes ... we could be wrong but if we think about it. If we are not in why would he troll his own fan base instead of flat-out saying it a professional manner like "we are committed to the Big East and look forward to what the future brings etc etc." without cryptic messaging? I could be taking it wrong but it looks like he is having fun

This, like many “reports” on Twitter, appears to be opinion or speculation passed off as a report. People are underrating the fact that the commissioner of the Big 12 wants us. Also, Arizona and Arizona State seem redundant. Just invite us, Arizona, and Utah and call it a day. If those two like the Apple deal, then we are the perfect option for number 14.

My guess is the former. If you follow ADDBs history, he is a bit of a front-runner. During the dark days of Kevin Ollie or Diaco/Edsall, AD David Benedict was no where to be seen and had no interaction with fans/media and went dark. But when UConn is running good , he is very engaged, out there for the fans/media, and interacting with the UConn Twitterati.

So my interpretation on this is that he is very confident in how this will end.

With that being said...so was Herbst/Manual as well. I had heard from an AD source at that time that we were 100% set and were as good as gold in the ACC. But we all know how that turned out!
