Key Conference Realignment Tweet
Key Conference Realignment Tweet
It's a dozen years of this cr@p.It's one game.
Why is it double speak? What the heck does this mean ? Double speak
Oh I agree. He's calling it a key realignment tweet. I don't agree with that. It's a dozen years of this cr@p.
I mean, seriously. I am frustrated as a fan, but anyone making these dumb proclamations … we can’t get players as an Indy. That’s just the way it goes. We gotta hope we can hit on the portal and NILIt's one game.
Right now I am not sure UConn is the a top G5 squad.I mean, seriously. I am frustrated as a fan, but anyone making these dumb proclamations … we can’t get players as an Indy. That’s just the way it goes. We gotta hope we can hit on the portal and NIL
Tough spot against Maryland and a. Poor performance by the team. Should be better next week. I don’t think it exposed anything but we don’t have enough talent to compete with a mediocre power conference team.
Our NIL is way better than some of these FCS and G5 schools who would beat the snot out of us.I mean, seriously. I am frustrated as a fan, but anyone making these dumb proclamations … we can’t get players as an Indy. That’s just the way it goes. We gotta hope we can hit on the portal and NIL

it hasn't been 20 yrs nice try though. It’s not just one game when it’s been 20 years. This is why we aren’t getting into a FBS conference.
UConn needs to show something. Perhaps the football team having a bigger recruiting budget than WBBI know in my bones that we will become a football school if we are in a power conference. We have the raw material (great athletic department, history of championships in multiple sports, great facilities, loyal fans, wealthy state, great academics, etc). We need the oxygen provided by a power conferences money, stability, access to bowls, etc to light the rocket. Give us a chance and we will meet the moment.
Agreed. We have proven this already.I know in my bones that we will become a football school if we are in a power conference. Not 20 but it's been at least a dozen years.it hasn't been 20 yrs nice try though.
If by "football school" you mean a middle of the pack Big 12 team, then I 100% believe the program can be built to that level. If you mean that we would actually be competing for Big 12 titles and a playoff spot, then I don't think that's ever going to be possible and I'm ok with that. I just want us to be competitive again against your average to above-average P4 schools.I know in my bones that we will become a football school if we are in a power conference. wooshit hasn't been 20 yrs nice try though.

The funny thing is I still vividly remember (from about 40 years ago; yeah, I'm old) when the narrative from the local press, the national press, our fan base, opposing fan bases, even many administrators within our school said the same thing about our men's basketball program. If by "football school" you mean a middle of the pack Big 12 team, then I 100% believe the program can be built to that level.
