The ship has sailed for Diggins this year. 100% not ready.

Johnson's ship has almost left port as well.

Gaffney has been a major disappointment all season but has almost shown signs of aspirating and almost breathing.

People focus too much on his mistakes like passing into the hands of a defender. They seem to miss that overall his ball handling is better. He is moving the ball more quickly not dribbling in place. He is dealing out assists effectively and remains good attacking the rim. His defense is much better than in the past. You don't see teams targeting him for ISO as you did before.

It's weird, because previously defense, ball handling, TOs and slowing down the offense were his deficiencies, but at least he could shoot. Now it's flipped. Look at the stats. If Polley and Hawkins are both out tomorrow, we will need some shooting from the bench. I would expect Gaffney and Akok to exceed their offensive stat averages.

But most of the slack will have to get picked up by RJ and Tyrese. Anything outside from Whaley or Ajax is bonus

I honestly don’t focus on anything in particular he’s just not playing well on either end all that often since the BE schedule. And add to it he suddenly can’t shoot, rarely finishes lay ins and gets beat off the dribble a lot I’m still waiting for that potential to sneak out. He’s frustrating for me.

Rooting for that game soon so Hawk can throw Crow at me lol
 
IIRC Gaffney played some of his best basketball towards the end of last season and in the tourney game vs. Maryland. Let’s hope he can turn it up another notch this postseason as well.

To me, points are points and I don't care where they come from. If we can finally create turnovers and get out on the break then hallelujah!! We don't score enough easy buckets.
 
Gaff has looked better lately. All y’all are going to eat crow when he makes AAC First Team one day
 
I guess Cole & Martin and maybe Akok will have to shoot the 3's
